scale color research practice!
q: what’s abstraction good for?
a: abstraction is a free and wild style of art. it can promote creativity while expressing emotions in hidden meanings. people can interpret abstract art in any way they want to
q: what does having a physical space to make art mean for your process and how do you make your space work for you?
a: i personally can draw anywhere. i gain inspiration very easily, especially in places, as long as it’s not distracting. i usually draw in my bed while listening to music. sometimes i’ll work on art on my bedroom floor or downstairs in my dining room. i also enjoy going to the art studio to work on art. i would love to own an art studio when i’m older and moved out :)

life color post !!
photo 1- i found this on pinterest and i loved how dainty and airy the environment was in this photo. the vases are so cool and the colors used are so mellow and soft
photo 2 ft. my fav necklace- i got a new pajama set for christmas (which are now my new fav pj’s) and the mint green color brings back memories of how obsessed i was with this color during my middle school years
photo 3- this was on my feed when i first opened tumblr and it was a post of a bunch of illustrated desserts. i thought this one was pretty because of the different shades and varieties of green
life color post !!
#1 you can never go wrong with a simple sunset pic 🤷♀️
#2 this was my napkin after painting my color wheel with gauche, i thought the colors looked super pretty :)
#3 i was making some coffee and the colors reminded me of earth colors week so i had to take a quick photo (oat milk is the best btw)
#4 i went to mel’s with my chamber orchestra group and sat in front of the rolling stones decor and though it looked cool B)
color additive research post!!
color #1
this color mostly consisted of red, and green and blue almost had the same amount of input. green dims the vibrancy of warm and bright colors such as red, while blue gave it a slight pink tone to achieve the full color
color #2
it was easy to achieve this sage green color since it was very similar to turquoise and mint. the color paper is actually less blue in person than in the photo. red made the green and blue color more neutral
color #3
this is my iphone charger and it is sort of a periwinkle blue/purple. both green and red were at the same percentage amount, but the amount of blue was similar as well
photo #1: my brother gave me a snapple drink i noticed that i’ve always loved the snapple logo and the colors that they use, it looks so clean and simple. the contrast of the dark blue snapple logo with the red background goes well together.
photo #2: as i was getting ready for school, i passed by my bedroom saw that my window looked really cool. the sun was still rising so the shadows looked blue and the yellow looked really good with it, and my star lights were still on so it gave my window a twinkly effect :3
photo #3: i was looking through pinterest for some inspiration for my art show project and i came across this fanart of rosalina and luma. even though i find space terrifying, i feel like space/galaxy related art pieces give me comfort. one of my favorite color combos is deep blue and golden yellow, and this piece had a little hint of that.
