ƸӜƷ Have a crush on anyone?
“Ethan’s cute, he’s been showing up to the parties I go to lately. Plus, it’s pretty hot that he’s older.”
ƸӜƷ Do you have a favorite friend?
“Yeah, CJ’s my best friend, who else? Everyone else is just kinda around sometimes when I’m doing my thing.”
She had just been standing outside of her favorite cafe with a cigarette in her right hand when a teenage boy with his friends decided to make her the butt of his cruel joke. "Hey guys, watch this." He said quietly, unbeknownst to Abby. Half a second later and it hit her, a large, mostly full cup of chocolate milkshake right upside her head. She gasped and turned around furiously to find the culprit, who was already laughing and running away with his group of tag along assholes. "Hey, FUCK YOU!" She screamed vehemently, feeling an awful lot like an old person pissed at kids for being on their lawn. Only her hair getting messed up with a milkshake along with her clothes, she would argue was on another level. "Eat a dick, you fucking dip shits!"

Remember Me? | Abby & CJ

CJ was beyond grateful for the job he was able to snag as soon as he’d gotten out of Glendale. The library had always been a place he felt most safe, if he weren’t home. Today had been a trying one and he was glad he’d be able to unwind at work, before he headed back to his place.
As he was organizing the books that had been returned that day, he noticed a lady walk through the doors and start browsing. He watched her for a few moments, feeling like he might know her. CJ pushed it aside as he continued his worked. Not long after, the woman approached him, and he looked up, smiling at her. “Um, I’m not sure, but let me look it up to see if we have copies before I take you to it,” he said, happy to help her out. “We do have one copy on the shelf, so let me take you to it,” he said, walking out from behind the desk. “How are you today?” CJ asked politely, not wanting the lady to feel awkward as they walked through the shelves.
"Yeah, sure. Thank you." She said as she nodded her head and followed him to the computer. She grinned when he said they did still have it in and nodded once more when he said to follow him. "Awesome, you rock." She said as she walked a step behind him. She still couldn't shake the feeling that she'd seen him before but she didn't want to seem like a weirdo and ask if they had met. He didn't say anything about knowing her, which she figured he would if he remembered meeting her before. The thought that they were kids when they'd been friends didn't even cross her mind. "Pretty good, actually. Had a productive day, figured I'd try and read again, chillax a little bit, you know." She said as she stuffed her hands into her jacket. "Hey, speaking of, I don't have a library card. I haven't been in a library since I lived in Chicago, could you help me set that up too?"

There were times when Noor couldn’t bring herself to head home straight from work. She knew Hana was already up and waiting for her - most likely patiently and without much restlessness - and that was one of the very reasons she had decided to grab a cup of tea and sit down for a moment. The night shift had been rough, she was still trying to compartmentalize everything, and her four-year-old certainly didn’t need to know any of that. Noor had tried to read the morning’s newspaper but hadn’t made it past the first few headlines; she was still holding on to the thing but not doing much else. She wasn’t particularly surprised when she noticed a shadow, someone stood next to her. “Oh, did you want it?” she asked, nodding towards the newspaper. “It’s all yours.”
Being a stockbroker, Abby tried to keep up with economics and how businesses were doing. She had to be knowledgeable about so many aspects of her field that she studied relentlessly and kept up with the financial aspects of the news, always coming to this coffee shop so she could read the free copy of the Wallstreet Journal that they kept. Of course, to her dismay someone else already seemed to have taken the copy for themselves, so she hovered over just to glance at the titles, curious if anything relevant was there. She raised her eyebrows when the woman offered it to her and smiled politely. “You sure? I don’t mind waiting, I’m just lounging around for a bit.”

“Okay, okay. I know this is probably sudden and weird but desperate times call for desperate measures, right?” Edgar hurried to the nearest person–His camera in hand and a couple of his friends behind him. “Do you mind if I film you? For like a a few seconds. It’s for a Vlog.”
Abby smirked at him when he asked if he could film her for some sort of vlog he was doing. "I guess that depends what it's about? Like my face won't be the new meme of the month, right? Tell me what you're trying to get me into, man."
Remember Me? | Abby & CJ
@callxmexcj
Abby used to read all the time when she was in high school, usually because it was an effective way to keep people she didn’t care about from talking to her. When she wanted to talk, she would seek out the company . . . If she wasn’t seeking conversation back then, she was making it abundantly clear that she wanted to be left alone. After high school was over, Abby got lost in drugs again and again until she finally did what she had to, and since had found herself too busy focusing on her career to get back to that old hobby of hers.
She’d made a few good sales earlier that day though, so why not treat herself? Why not kick back with a book and some wine, just to relax? So she walked into the nearest library on her way home and began looking through the shelves for something interesting. She had been wanting to read Girl on the Train, since she heard so many good reviews but was having no luck finding it. She wondered around a few more minutes before she spotted a librarian and decided to ask for help. She studied his face briefly before speaking, feeling some odd sense of familiarity when she looked at him but she couldn’t place it. Maybe he just had a similar face to someone she’d known once. Or maybe she’d sold him a stock, who was to say. “Hey, I was wondering if you could help me find a book? Might be checked out but it’s called Girl on the Train. I haven’t been to a library in years so it’s also just possible I don’t know fuck shit about the Dewey Decimal System, so . . . I think I'm lost.”
