Storybook Land has been keeping the spirit of childhood alive in an entertaining and educational atmosphere for 50 years. There is a world of wonderful things to see and do at Storybook Land. 20 acres of family fun where you can walk through the pages of children's classic stories and nursery rhymes. Enjoy exciting new family rides and attractions in a remarkably clean and enjoyable park setting.
Provided that there is good weather, my hubby and I will be taking our tiny human to Storybook Land when we venture up to Jersey in a few days. Every time I’ve been in Jerz with E, we’ve passed by this place but I never what it was. I got the idea this morning to look it up and i’m so glad I did. It is the perfect sized amusement park for H. She is even tall enough to ride most of the rides, provided E or I ride with her. Hubby has already given the okay. It’s going to be so much fun!
E.L. James (author of the 50 shades triology) is coming out with a book written from the perspective of Christian Grey. It is pretty much the story of 50 Shades of Grey told by Christian himself.
I may have to read the triology all over again. I will certainly be purchasing a copy of this when it is released on June 18th (Christian’s birthday).
Day 49 and still no period
but i’m not pregnant. At least i’m pretty confident that I’m not. My period was super late last month and I got all worked up thinking I was pregnant. The day after I took a test, my period came.
I’ve been super crampy today i’m confident that this period is imminent. If for some reason it does not come for another couple of weeks, I will start worrying. I bet as soon as I go to pee after posting this, it will come.

hahah hell yes! I was always pushing that end button frantically and thinking “Dear God NOOOOOOOO”
Welp, my tiny human isn’t allergic to yellow jackets...
I have been fearing this day for a while. Both my dad and my husband’s mom are allergic to bees so the chances for my tot to be were high. They still might be since she was stung by only one stinging insect and had no reaction. The way she reacted when it happened was unlike any reaction i’ve seen from her and it damn near broke my heart. She was genuinely in pain and didn’t understand what had happened. It took her a while to calm down but now she is doing just fine. There was no swelling or any sign of a reaction. I am sad that my baby had to go through that but I do feel a bit of relief in knowing she isn’t allergic to yellow jackets.

SERIOUSLY funny round of Musical Impressions on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Jamie Foxx crushed it as John Legend lol.

It’s this awesome event that happens in DC once a month between Spring and Fall each year. All these YUMAZING food trucks gather in this one location and people just come and eat, drink, and listen to live music. I went last year with some friends and I’m attending this year with the same group. These food trucks are legit. The food on many of these trucks are just shy of being gourmet food. The only thing that sucks about this event for me is traveling to get there. I’m going to be stuck in awful traffic getting there, then I have to navigate though the tiny, packed streets of DC, THEN I have to find parking. I am not, I repeat NOT a city driver. This should be interesting. Wish me luck.
