What if a billion years ago an alien jacked off into a puddle of water and the seminal bacteria evolved into life as we know it today?
My brain is like an internet browser, several tabs open, half without feedback, 1000 pop-up and where the fuck does the music come from?
Something occurred to me. Like an hour ago but I needed to re-watch the episode to certain moment to be sure.
It’s long so I’m posting this under the cut.

“Is it, why? why is it understandable? Why does everything have to be understandable? Why can’t some things be unacceptable and we just say that ?”
…this is what john said to his therapist..
Was it foreshadowing that he will do something unacceptable?
Anyone else notice the same cup? Probably why Sherlock was so quick to catch it NO DO NOT DROP THAT ITS MY SPECIAL TEA SET THAT I USE WHEN MY PSYCHOPATH FRIENDS COME OVER
damn right it is.
Euros killed Redbeard
Like Sherrinford in canon, Euros was the oldest of the Holmes’ siblings. When Sherlock was very young she started showing signs of being mentally unstable. Then one day she killed the family dog Redbeard. Animal abuse is a classic early childhood sign of a sociopath. Sherlock’s parents tried to protect Sherlock from the truth by telling him that Redbeard was sent away to a nice farm (as was stated in one of Moffat and Gatiss’ interviews). Shortly after they sent Euros away to a mental institute called Sherrinford.
Sherlock is traumatized by the dog’s death. He justifies the situation by telling himself the dog was put down. He was young enough to change his memories to fit what he wanted to remember. But somewhere deep in his mind he knows that the connection between his dog’s death and Euros disappearance from the family is linked.
The family never mentions Euros to Sherlock again and Mycroft tells him stories about the “East Wind” which are actually symbolic of his scary older sister.
This is why Sherlock associates Redbeard with the “ghosts” of his past and why the dog is one of Sherlock’s pressure points and why Mycroft has ‘Redbeard’ written in his notebook about Sherlock.
Mycroft is still keeping tabs on Euros. Mycroft says in tld that “Sherlock gone rogue is a legitimate security concern” and “the fact that I am his brother changes absolutely nothing”. He then hints that he has done this before with another sibling… Euros. As a murderer is also a legitimate security concern and Mycroft also uses his position as the British Government to check up on her.
We are led to believe that Sherrinford is the 3rd brother when it is actually the place that Euros is kept. Mycroft regularly ‘calls Sherrinford’ to check that his sister is still safely imprisoned there.
Lady Smallwood: “Do you still speak to Sherrinford?”
Mycroft: “I get regular updates.”
Mycroft: “And?”
Mycroft: “Sherrinford is secure.”
He is saying that Sherrinford the institution is secure but his security team doesn’t see that Euros is actually with Sherlock that night. Mycroft thinks Sherlock is just on drugs.
What about the “Miss Me” note?
Euros was working with Moriarty from the beginning. Remember how is TRF Moriarty had Sherlock’s entire life story. Mycroft tells John that he was the one who gave this information to Moriarty. But for someone who is always trying to protect Sherlock this is very out of character. It was actually Euros who gave the information. Mycroft knows this but is still trying to protect Sherlock from his sister’s existence.
Twists only work if you have a fair chance to work it out.

MISS M(oriarty) E(lizabeth)?
Following the idea that “MISS ME?” is associated with Miss Mary Elizabeth (read MISS M(ary) E(lizabeth)?), I wondered if E from The Six Thatchers could be Moriarty’s sibling.
MISS ME? Moriarty leaves us at the end of series three with a question: “MISS ME?”
ACD CANON SIBLING In ACD canon Moriarty has a brother.
My hand has been forced, however, by the recent letters in which Colonel James Moriarty defends the memory of his brother, and I have no choice but to lay the facts before the public exactly as they occurred.
His younger brother is a station master in the west of England.
ELIZABETH As I have have stalked Elizabeths in Sherlock for a while, I though that the character who identifies herself as E was called Elizabeth. Somobody confirmed that in the end credits the actress is credited as Elizabeth.
PARALLELS BETWEEN ELIZABETH AND JIM As you can see in the following meta, both characters have parallels in the way they approach one of the leads:
Hey! The flirting villain!
THIS IS ME When Elizabeth leaves her phone number, she says:
ELIZABETH: This is me!
Identifying herself with the word “me”.
If she was Moriarty’s sister, her reversed initials would be M.E.
This could be a wordplay on MISS M(oriarty) E(lizabeth)?, akin to MISS M(ary) E(lizabeth)?
FAITH We know from a magazine that the same actress who plays Elizabeth, will be playing a character called Faith in The Lying Detective.
In The Six Thatchers there is this line:
AMBASSADOR: They? Who are they? Seems to me we put an awful lot of faith in they.
If Faith was actually the same character as Elizabeth in disguise, this sentence would fit with both:
Faith being Moriarty’s sibling;
Faith being Elizabeth’s twin or pretending to.
When you like something but are not in the fandom because the fandom is fucked up
Sherlock fandom is probably the only fandom in existence that waits for years for new content which has 70% chances of it all happening only inside the protagonist’s head
Only two days to the next sherlock episode. Sounds fake
Is it a bluff? Or a double-bluff? Or a triple-bluff?

It’s strange how every season’s mastermind villain plan is about making John Watson suffer to get a reaction out of Sherlock Holmes. Every final is about ensuring John Watson’s safety.
Moriarty ? The villain who wants to be missed and used John as a pressure point. Magnussen ? The shark villain who threatens Sherlock by sending a “ Save John Watson” skip code.
Who got associated with both the Miss me villain and the Shark villain at the end of TST ? Mary. A miss me CD and a “Save John Watson” message. Not “save Rosie”, not protect my family Sherlock" but Save.John.Watson
It’s almost as if the cases are minor and the bigger plan is about the Holmes/Watson relationship. And Sherlock is in love. Who with ? What a ridiculous mystery
The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.
