It is fine to be confused and not understand something. This is why we learn, you should know this as a teacher. it is important for you to know that you can grow and learn and expand your ideas about the world. Being trans does not make you „mentally ill“ or dangerous. If an individual believes that they are a woman or a man or anything else, then how is that an issue? Because it does not change anything about them except for their gender identity, maybe they will be more open on the clothes they like the wear or their personal style. Being trans does not make you inherently dangerous to be around.
Also especially noticed that you focus on trans women specifically, why is that? In your logic are trans men not just as dangerous?
