Forced to Rebuild From Zero: A Father’s Plea to Protect His Children in Gaza 💔
We have been forced to rebuild our lives from the ashes so many times that I have lost count. Do not mistake this for temporary displacement. Do not insult our agony by calling it a "fresh start." This is not a new chapter; it is a brutal, exhausting fight to stay alive.
Again, I was forced to flee with my children and rebuild our lives from zero. Every time we move, I try to convince my children that the next place will finally be safer. Better. Permanent. And every time, we end up surrounded by rubble, fear, freezing nights, insects, rats, and uncertainty. 🏚️
I am a Palestinian father from Gaza. I am not asking for luxury. I am not asking for comfort. I am only asking for the basic human right to protect my children.
Today, as you can see in the photos, we moved once again into a damaged apartment because it was the only shelter we could find. The place is unsafe and barely livable.
It urgently needs:
Wood and plastic sheeting to close exposed areas 🪵🪟
Basic repairs to make it structurally safer
Mattresses and essential supplies 🛏️
Protection from weather, insects, rats, and disease 🪰⛈️
My children are already suffering from insect bites, skin irritation, exhaustion, and the trauma of constant displacement.
I swear to you — we have nothing left except the kindness of strangers. Here in Gaza, nobody can survive alone anymore. No savings. No stability. No safe shelter for my children.
Right now, I urgently need to raise $1,000 to make this damaged shelter barely safe enough for my children to sleep in.
Current Status: $10,857
Immediate Goal: $11,857 🎯
Our GoFundMe campaign has been stuck at $10,857 for five days with no donations (as of May 20). These donations have been helping meet the basic needs of my extended family of seven since November 10, 2024. I am now appealing to you for help.
Even the smallest donation or share could help us survive and create one safe corner for my family. I will continue sharing transparent updates so every supporter can see exactly how their help is used.

If my mother dies, please remember that this cry for help was seen and ignored.
Her condition is getting worse with every passing minute, and we are running out of time.
Just $10 from 50 people could give her another chance to live.
I’m begging you… don’t scroll past our pain as if it means nothing.
A small donation or even sharing this post could reach someone able to save her life.
Look, look, this is happening right now! Look, an attack on a residential building! Look how the flames are consuming the bodies of martyrs and children! My God, this is hell, I swear! And you're still watching and remaining silent?
My friends, please listen to me and understand what I'm saying. I swear the war here is not over. We still live in fear every single day. Every day we hear the sounds of shelling, and every day innocent people and children are targeted, their only crime being that they were born here. We are not asking for the impossible. We simply want our children to live in safety, to wake up without fear, and to sleep without their homes being shaken by explosions.
A house near me was evacuated a little while ago, and just minutes later it was completely destroyed right before our eyes. How can you say the war is over? I swear it's not over, and we live in terror every single day. 💔😭
To everyone reading my words: Remember that behind the news are real people living through this suffering moment by moment. And amidst these harsh circumstances, we are still facing another hardship. My sick nephew needs another operation, and we still need 700 euros to cover the costs. Every help or share of our words could make a huge difference to us during this difficult time. 💔😭
Imagine watching your mother collapse in front of you, knowing she could be saved but being unable to help because of money.
I write this as I watch my mother deteriorate day by day, unable to stop what is happening to her.
Her condition has become very serious due to liver cirrhosis, and her platelet count has dropped to a dangerously low level.
We urgently need the N-Plate 250 mcg injection again. Doctors confirmed the esophageal varices procedure cannot be done without it, and any delay increases the risk.
Time is running out and her condition is worsening. Donate now
The injection costs over $500, which I cannot afford in these harsh circumstances.
If you cannot donate, one share may help save her life.
We live in a tent in Gaza, where insects and rodents surround us every day. The difficult conditions we endure have caused Mohammed to develop a painful skin disease that is getting worse and requires urgent treatment.
As a mother, it breaks my heart to watch him suffer while I struggle to provide the medical care he needs.
Any donation, no matter how small, can help us get the treatment and medicine Mohammed urgently needs. If you cannot donate, please share our story with others.
🙏 Your kindness could make a real difference in my child's life.

From the shore of Gaza, I am writing these words while watching the sunset with my children.
There is something heartbreaking about watching such a beautiful sunset while wondering what tomorrow will bring.
For many families around the world, home is a place of safety. For us, home has become a memory. The war has taken away so much—our security, our stability, and the simple routines that once made life feel normal.
Every morning, we wake up facing uncertainty. Buildings have collapsed, schools have been disrupted, healthcare is limited, and even basic necessities like food, clean water, and shelter have become daily challenges.
In this video, you will see small moments from our lives. You will see a father trying to bring smiles to his children's faces amidst hardship. You will see children who still dream, laugh, and hope, even under circumstances no child should have to endure.
My children, Israa and Suhaib, deserve what every child deserves: the chance to learn, play, and sleep safely, and to look to the future with hope, not fear.
We are not headlines, and we are not just numbers. We are a real family who struggle every day to survive and maintain our dignity.
Many people have already turned away from Gaza. I hope you won't.
Please help us share our story. Be a voice for families whose voices are rarely heard.
If our story touches your heart, please consider supporting us. Your donation helps provide food, clean water, shelter, and other basic necessities that allow my family to keep going.
No donation is too small. Every act of kindness matters.❤️

Thank you for reading, sharing, and standing beside a family that refuses to give up hope.
My name is Mohammed, I live in Gaza City and I am 19 years old. I have lived through the full horrors of war — hunger, displacement, fear, relentless bombings, destruction, and so many other painful experiences 🥹😭.I never created a donation link before, and I haven’t received any kind of help throughout this devastating war 🥲💔.
I was so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and I dreamed of starting a small shop to earn a living. But sadly, the war returned — even more violent and destructive than before 😭.Our area has now been declared a dangerous combat zone, and we lost our home — the only shelter we had 💔.
Worst of all, my father was seriously injured: he tragically lost one of his hands and an eye, and he is now completely unable to work or support our family 🥲😭.
Prices have skyrocketed, and we have no source of income. I’m launching this donation campaign now with a broken heart but a little hope 🥲.
Please, for the sake of humanity and for the sake of my family, consider making a donation to help us survive 🙏💔.
I just created the donation link, hoping that someone out there might lend a helping hand.

From a Computer Engineer to Fighting for Survival: Please Do Not Scroll Past My Urgent Appeal 🥺💔
Before this crisis, I was a Computer Engineering graduate from the Islamic University of Gaza. I had a house, a car, a promising career, and a life full of dreams. Now, I am a brother carrying the heavy responsibility of keeping my entire family alive.
I sacrificed absolutely everything before turning to this campaign. I spent my entire life savings and sold every single thing I owned, including my laptop. Out of pure desperation to feed my family, I took a grueling heavy-lifting job that my body couldn't handle. My back broke under the weight, leaving me hospitalized for an entire month.
Today, I am broken and in agonizing pain inside a tent, unable to even stand up on my own feet.
I feel completely helpless because my campaign is moving extremely slow—it doesn't even cover the cost of basic food for my family right now. We are starving, and the slow support is leaving us stranded on the brink of survival.
Please, do not look away from our agony. Your donations are our only way to eat and stay safe. If you cannot donate, please share my story. You are truly our last remaining hope 🙏😭🥀💔😔
Hi, my name is Max and I am raising funds for Mahmoud and his family who are living in Gaza. Please read his story below:
My name is Qusai, I was born in Gaza and I am 16 years old. The war came and I was in the third preparation and I could not complete my studies. I had a house and a place to live in, but unfortunately it has been completely destroyed and our area is subjected to constant warnings and displacement of the population. I do not have any source of income. My father is unemployed after we had a bird shop where we rely on a source of income, but it is destroyed because of the war and we can hardly buy expensive food and because of famine and lack of money, we cannot manage ourselves with our simplest daily needs, so I hope you stand by my family and help make our lives better and make sure that no matter how much it is, no matter what it makes us happy and helps us make our lives better
