Alright so if they weren't terrible in their terrible twos, how terrible were the Remnants when they first started "education"? Be it one of AGS teaching them, I'm assuming? I am not sure. But! Kadaj seems like a biter to me. And it doesn't seem like he can sit still for long.
Kadaj is definitely a biter! I think he bites Genesis the most, and honestly, if he wasn't a whole child Genesis would bite him back as revenge.
But regarding their education! For the first four to five years AGS took charge of it. Genesis, obviously, centered around reading and writing. Like teaching them the alphabet, and reading LOVELESS to them. I feel like he would sit them on his desk and make them type stuff on the typewriter (he helps them press the keys because those are too hard for their little fingers).
Regarding this, I feel like the one who picked up writing and reading the quickest was Yazoo. He knows how to write all of the family members' names! (Even the hardest one, "Sephiroth" lol). Loz mostly likes it when Genesis reads to them and Kadaj has probably eaten at least one piece of paper because Genesis said he wrote something incorrectly.
I said this is Genesis' "field", but they all help with writing and reading, it's just Genesis who does it more often.
Both Sephiroth and Genesis also teach them Planetology/Geology. After Banora was bombed by Shinra it left a lot of stuff around, like mako formations, crystals, materia, etc. Sephiroth always liked nature as a subject and really enjoys explaining how things form around them. How clouds form, how seasons change, etc. Genesis has also learned quite a lot after living and studying in Banora for a few years, he mostly focuses on the lifestream and explains the ruins found there. The kids overall like to learn about these things, though if they are doing a little excursion outside they really need to keep an eye on them because they get distracted and wander off.
Angeal, while he does help with the other stuff, focuses on more practical things. Like how to water the plants properly, and which plants are which. The ones you can eat and the ones you can't. Each of the remnants has a little watering can and they help Angeal water the plants in their garden every day. They also have a few chickens so Angeal helps the kids feed them and teaches them how to be gentle with them. Loz is a little scared of the chickens so he doesn't like feeding them that much. Kadaj was scared at first but once he fed them he became a fan. The remnants named all their chickens.
This is up until the remnants are around 5 years old. After that AGS has a really serious chat about letting them interact with other kids (Since they are the only ones that live in Banora). It implies hard decisions but they do move to Mideel. (Close to Banora, isolated from the rest of the world and more people to interact with) It's not an easy choice though.
