An absent side from Syria. Wadi Al-Nasara which means "Valley of Christians"is an area in western Syria. Most people in the area are Eastern Orthodox Christians.

All footage was shot on location in 2010, edited for the screen in 2016

Everywhere we looked was a postcard, every view was breath-taking!!! This lovely Greek island was a pleasant surprise. Two historical forts border the city. At once it was for protection. Now they make excellent tourist sites. The pedestrian shopping area was busy and we were surprised by a local band parading along the promenade. An exquisite mansion dedicated to the mythical super-hero Achilles was built by Elizabeth ( Sisi ) of Austria!!! Here's a first test from my brand new Sony A7sII camera - movie handheld! :) Nothing's perfect here, since I didn't give much attention to detail in terms of both framing and grading. Still, you can see what this camera could do (I did see it!). 'The Dice Player' is an Animated Poetry film that visualizes a poem written by the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. It was recited in the live event 'In the Shade of Words' 2008, along with harmonies by the band Le Trio Joubran. (Subtitles are available)

Who am I to tell you this? I was never a drenched rock Refined to become a face Nor a cane that has been Perforated by the winds To become a flute I am the dice player At times I win, at times I lose I’m the same as all of you Maybe a little less

Not a role I played in what I’ve become If this farm hadn’t been ravaged Maybe I would’ve turned into an olive Or a professor of geography Or an expert in an ant colony Or a guardian Of echoes

Who am I to tell you this? I was rewarded more awakenings Not to relish my moony nights But to witness the butchering

I survived coincidentally Too small for a shooting target But bigger than a bee, Fluttering amid the fence grass And I worried and worried About my father About my brothers And I worried about a time made of glass And so the fear strolled within me And I strolled in its path Barefoot … hollow Leaving behind my childhood memories And the dreams I had for tomorrow There is no tomorrow

There is no tomorrow

I walk, I scamper, I run, I go up and down, I scream and wail I rush, slow down and inhale I feel lighter, drier, I stride and fly, I run, I forget I see, I don’t see I remember, hear and behold I fantasize, I hallucinate I whisper and scream I can’t I fall, I rise then collapse, bleed, and I black out.

We are all children of the night. It is our escape, it is our religion. The only religion that accepts everyone equally. no matter who we are, or who we want to be. The night liberates everyone us.

We were approached by Leo Burnett Beirut to participate in a collaborative project for Machrou' Leila's upcoming album and tour: "Ibn El Leil". We jumped on the opportunity to produce a bunch of very short animations to be used by Gab Ferneiné as VJ during Machrou' Leila's live performances, the first of which was at London's Barbican center. It was a great experience, emphasized by the fact that we had complete creative freedom on the visuals we were producing.

I have a question concerning the Zippo. Where did you get it engraved? there is no Zippo store in Lebanon that engraves or customizes Zippos in any way. - thank you

Hello Maria , مرحبا 😀Here in Palestine we have many places or shops for men gifts and accessories. So they have a little machine you can engrave what ever you want. The Yassmina logo i have it as a tattoo on my arm. So i took the logo and they made for me.

Since its beginning on 4chan, the internet-driven collective Anonymous has emerged as one of the leading hacktivist movements, targeting high-profile institutions with fearless cyber attacks. Looking into how this collective of online hackers went from pranksters to vigilantes for global justice lead to an intriguing discovery of unique qualities that form Anonymous. A certain tonal element of Anonymous resonated with me and immediately translated into an exciting aesthetic I was eager to take on. There is a mesmerizing and compelling, but also terrifying quality to the dynamic spread of a collective who’s story is being written with every new day and operation.

Created as my Senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design (B.F.A Motion Media Design 2015).
