Yeah, people are talking about abs as though they're a direct measure of fitness, or like anyone who's strong and athletic has abs, and I don't think that's a healthy or accurate standard.

I know there are a lot of excellent athletes in this fandom, very few of who have separately defined abs. For myself, I can say that the times when I'm at my strongest and most athletic don't usually correspond to the times when I have visible abs.
