My garage door closes only when you hold the button down.
Yes, we hear this a lot. Rushing to go to work on time and your garage door doesn’t want to close! So frustrating and inconvenient. You click the button just as you have for the last xx amount of years, didn’t do anything different, you didn’t hear a loud sound, and you don’t see anything out of place or broken.Â
The only way to remotely close your garage door is by holding the wall control button installed on the inside wall of your garage. But why? How long can I do this for before it really breaks. You may get a way from doing this a few times and maybe more but you shouldn’t. The fact is something is wrong with either the garage door system or the garage door opener system. Either way the last thing you want is cause a bigger mess that would cost more money by avoiding the issue. The garage door is the biggest moving object in the house so keeping up to date with its functions is important.Â
