Letter to a “Lonely Traveller”...

You used to be so convinced that there was a better world to be found somewhere on this planet, although you didn’t know where. You were running to and fro in search of it. But life has taught you a few things: Happiness can’t be found in a certain place, it has to be found within you. And happiness isn’t an eternal state either, because you have a soft heart that aches when lonely hearts around you are aching. It can feel when others are feeling low. It cries when people or animals are getting hurt. Thus happiness will never be more than a collection of some joyful and fleeting moments, when you were able to escape the cruel reality of materialistic and cruel nothingness that the world surrounds you with.
