Officially off the pill, I was developing super unhealthy eating habits and losing weight, and I've been on it for 150 days so I spoke to my dermatologist and we decided I'd come off it, I really hope my skin doesn't go back to the way it was

Having clear skin is great bc I can take ugly pics and make fun of myself without feeling bad about my skin like I look like that bc I want to u know does this make sense like I can take a gross snapchat and feel fine about posting it because I'm making an ugly face but my skin is clear so??!?! I'm just excited ignore me

So I've been on 50 for a while, and I was starting to feel very down, my mood was shit, everything hurt, and I wasn't eating a lot. So I stopped taking my 20 at night and was only taking my 30, along with an aleve, and I felt so much better. I called my derm and told her, she was very encouraging and we've decided that I'm gonna be on the 30 and once I run out I'll go up to 40, so I'll take two 20s a day, and it looks like I'll be done soon which is exciting

I’ve been on absorica for just over 4 months and this is my skin with no foundation or concealer or anything and I’m so happy with it, I’m surfing the Crimson wave right now and I’d usually be covered in spots but I don’t have one, my skin is scarred and kinda textured but that’s ok!!! I’m outside with no makeup on and I don’t hate myself! Anyone starting it or anyone that’s on it and hasn’t seen much progress please know that you will!!! It might take time and you might get sick of it but it’ll be worth it in the end, I’m so excited to see where my skin will go from here because it can only get better

Day 91 (it's like 2 in the morning)

The inside of my nose is so fucking dry all of a sudden I have no idea why. I’ve been putting aquaphor in there at night but idk if it’s doing anything, I’ll talk to my derm about it when I next see her but wtf like where did this come from My skin looks good, I need more sleep though bc my bags Also I tried a liquid lipstick on at home, I haven’t worn really anything on my lips since I started the pill, but it got crusty so I wouldn’t recommend lmao

So far the glossier moisturizing moon mask is great, it turns to like goo when u wash it off which is interesting, I'll see how I feel after a few more uses but I'm liking it, you get a lot of product in the tub.

Like I have 2 underground spots rn and they’re just there like they’re not coming to a head, one of them has been there for weeks, months maybe, and they’re just there. Dunno if my skin is stronger or what lmao

The Laura Mercier powder is gr8, so much better than the makeup forever one

I used the dr.jart mask in the blue packaging for moisturizing and it made my skin feel gr8 and look really bright, I used the moisturizing pink one from bocia or bochia however u spell it and it sucked. I think it was Tony moly one I used as well the aloe one and it was gr8

The tarte lights camera lashes mascara is trash my guy, it makes ur lashes look so good but it gets all black under ur eyes, like my skin isn't oily now bc of the pill but I dread to think what the mascara would look like if it was lmao, roller lash by benefit is gr8 but I feel like it dries up too fast

Day 51

Been on 50 for maybe a week, idk, feeling great, 60 was just too much for me, my skin looks better than it ever has, everything is good. The ponds dry skin moisturizer is great, and so inexpensive compared to some of these crazy moisturizers. I need to start using spf bc the east coast is fucking burning rn, I got sunburned just walking around last week. Apparently they’re coming out with a spf 500 sunblock for redheads soon so I’m definitely gonna try it lmao see if it can do anything for this Scots irish mess of a complexion

Day 42

I’m going down to 50mg a day, so I’m taking 30 a day until I get the 20 to combine them and I’m feeling so much better it’s crazy, I never thought it’d have such an effect on my mood, I’d much rather be on it longer at a lower dose and feel better. I was breaking out a bit because I was pmsing, but I got my period today and it’s all starting to plateau which is great. Even though I get some spots now, it’s nowhere near as bad as it was before starting the pill so I’m happy. I have a few dry patches from spots I was fucking with, and I keep picking off the dry patch because I’m a mess. I don’t get rough on my nose which is great, I used the ponds moisturizer for dry skin last night and it’s amazing, it’s kinda greasy so I kinda blot it off and it’s crazy moisturizing, I woke up with such soft skin. I probably won’t use it during the day if I’m going out because it’s so thick but it’s great so far, I’ll see how I like it after a couple of days. Feeling good though.
