Miyuki just gave the other a wide smile, easing into the seat next to him. It was nice to be able to finally sit down after waiting in a line that was absolute hell. He didnāt exactly know why they were going on a beach trip or why that was any sort of option for a class trip, but he just went with it. It was disgustingly cliche, and he wasnāt much of a person for cliches, anyways.
He just sat his bag between his feet, leaning back for a moment in attempts to relax. It wasnāt like he really knew anyone in his class, let alone talked to the people that were in anyĀ of his classes. Maybe he should be polite and introduce himself to the other next to him? Miyuki definitely recognized him. He wasnāt oblivious, just didnāt go out of his way to get to know anyone unless they bothered talking to him. That just wasnāt in his personality.
He exhaled, lips pursing for a moment before turning to the boy next to him with a smile back on his lips and a hand outstretched.
āHey. Uh, since Iāll be sitting next to you, I just wanted to introduce myself. I mean, we are kind of in the same class and all. Iām Miyuki Kazuya, though. Nice to meet you.ā
Smiling back at the boy when he smiled at him, he soon looked away, not exactly sure what to do. It was clear they were both in the same class, but he never actually spoke with him, nor really recognized him. He was as much of a stranger as pretty much everyone else in this city was. Even after being here over a month, it was hard to get accustomed to this.
Having been lost in thought, he was a bit startled when the other spoke again, tensing slightly before turning to him and blinking. Right--names, names would be a good thing to go over. Nodding a bit, he just smiled again, taking the otherās hand and shaking it firmly.
āItās nice to meet you too, Miyuki-kun.ā
āIām Izumida Touichirou. Ah...if I may ask, when did you come to the city? Iām fairly new myself and donāt really understand...most of it. They took my bike too upon arrival, which was less than convenient.ā
