PERHAPS she was taking longer than what was necessary or appropriate, but when you’re short on cash and you have to get something that will last you as a “meal” for the rest of the day, you have to be careful in making your choice. This goes double for in a bakery because damn, look at all those sweets. Kris would be surprised if someone didn’t have a hard time making a choice on what to get.
WHAT also surprised her was the rather, erm–irritated looking boy who seemed to be freakishly tall with how he towered over her. His complaint didn’t go unnoticed since he was right there in her face, so the instinctive flinch she gave was warranted if anything.
❝ HEY! Back up buddy and get out of my face. Who do you think you are, huh? ❞ Kris’ tone was anything but light as she clicked her tongue at the boy. Talk about annoying.
The girl didn’t seem to be moving any faster, she just instead told him to back up. How annoying. Clearly he hadn’t gotten his point across on the fact that other people had to get to other places, and she was wasting all their time. This was not how he wanted to spend his day, dealing with annoying people in this terrible city. It just wasn’t.
“If you want me to leave you alone, hurry up.”
“You aren’t the only person in the city. People work to go toooooooo.”
