Being a hopeless romantic and yearner in this age of dating is painful

I've been feeling like a huge imposter lately. I want a career as a creative(using this as a general term) but I'm not making any moves towards it. I don't believe that I can call myself one if I'm not taking the steps to be it. But then again, I'm facing the biggest creative block so far. I don't know what to do. They say don't stop creating and I'm just stuck.

I'm not insecure about my looks really. I know that I'm not conventionally attractive and I'm not everyone's cup of tea. I'm unique and I'm attractive in my own way, to someone I am. But not being hit on weirdly does something to my self esteem. No one tells me that I'm attractive and it starts to hurt after a while. And god forbid it's someone that I find attractive that I would like to hear a compliment from.

Getting compliments from my family and friends really make me feel like the saying,

"I only have a face a mother could love"

The weird thing about no longer identifying as a woman is that you no longer get to participate in conversations about experiences of being a woman.

I'm still physically presenting as a woman, which is what I was born as and I use said pronouns as well but I really identify as androgynous so it's a conundrum
