What happened now in ff world?

As of now, my rant is a slow build of things I’ve seen in 2015. People have stopped reading my work out of pettiness, I’m used to that. But I’m talking about the new comers…. And how they’re received and how they’re treated. People come with something new and different. Some of them try hard as hell to please readers by using Chris less, using August, using some different male features…. Nobody is satisfied. Nobody wants to show love, some people let one person ruin fanfics for them when it is easy to spot them out. People on here want to lie and be fake, shade people and for what? We all want to write right? Some of us are actually in it with our hearts now it’s hard to get readers to take us seriously. I’m not new… But I definitely know how it feels to be ignored and overlooked cause people group your work in to be “the same” or repetitive. It hurts a lot, I try to uplift people and I see a few doing the same but everyone doesn’t believe that most of us are genuine behind these screens.

Most of us love to support. While you got the negative flowing around, yes I said negative. For those in college and busy, not even talking about that I’m talking about blatant disrespect to other writers and their space, their creativity. I’m past the point of sick of it! Another thing I’m tired of is the superiority, I’ve been here for ever and you don’t see my nose stuck in the fucking air. Shit it’s people younger than me who I believe write way better, tell a better story, you don’t see me dissing or shading or acting entitled. I ask for more interaction with my readers but I’m not gonna act above nobody, better than anyone.

And most of you are so disrespectful to the next writer too…. Dissing people’s hard work, calling shots like you run shit…. When do you say how original ones work is or how great it is. People on here are so messed up and have life all the way fucked up, can’t find genuine friendships in this and of course when people do… Y'all be acting like people can’t be friends and supportive of each other or you can’t genuinely support or help anyone. Just…… Why?! Why….. So many of you are quick to switch up on people and act like you can’t tell how nice or good a person is with YOUR OWN MIND, then some people are followers. What happened to being a kind decent person on the internet like you supposed to be outside of it?.. The shade, the drama, the petty behavior (especially if you’re grown as hell) is old. It’s old.

Yes I used to, I was so excited and had big plans for this story after working so hard on it after another story of mine had been completed. I feel like I am an amateur at telling the backgrounds of characters or no one is interested so I’m taking the time to try to practice & write better until the next two chapters are good enough to post.

I become self conscious because I check out people’s fics all the time and read, they’re always great…. I feel like I lack a certain quality as a writer. To spare you with whining I just feel like this particular fanfic is a failure yet I still love working on it. I’m trying to get better and my chapters looked good enough to post while at the same time going through things in real life? I’m honestly feeling like I’m the only one into the fanfic…aside from 4 people. I’ve edited and deleted chapter 14 along with 15 because lack of detail…. I would update everyday if I were feeling like it was good but right now I feel nothing I post from here is good enough…

Or maybe it comes off as typical. I’m going to finish but I’m stuck in a rut my dear, I’m trying to update frequently like I used to…. I just feel the plot may be boring or I’m not demonstrating enough….

I still love this story 😍 it's hard to find good fanfics now since there deleted or there just not updated anymore.. 😫😫😂
