The 4th

Fourth of July was gradiose. I have truly never seen a more beautiful sight. All of us at Southwest hiked a raft to the top hill of Silverton (about 200 ft below the place where they were setting the fireworks off) kicked back and looked up at the stars which became man-made explosions within a few hours. I love my friends and the people I've met here in Durango. They are irreplaceable. And the echo, boom, pop, hiss of the fireworks against the surrounding mountains was absolutely beautiful and shook me to the core. I have never felt more blessed to be human. And to be alive. 

Yes blessed. I don't say that very often, but I feel it. I have so much gratitude for life and where it has taken me. I've realized to always go with the flow. And never fight life. Love it.

Good livin'

My family came and visited me. One of the best weeks of my life. Full moon float last weekend. Another beautiful night among the stars. And among beautiful people. 

Went caving two days ago, saw the sunset above Rockwood. I'd life to raft that river soon. Last night I repelled down into a waterfall hole in the La Plata Canyon, swam around awhile. Hope to go back tonight, maybe do a little fly-fishing down in there. 

I don't think life could get any better. Unless it rained. Southwest Colorado and the Animas River need it. Do a little rain dance for me tonight. Good vibes to all.
