Hi! I really like what I've seen of Division 6, what can you tell me about em? They seem really cool :D

I won't go into TOO much detail about them, as that would be too much to fit into a single post, so here's the general rundown of WHO and WHAT they are!

Division 6 is one of the 7 church groups in a cursed town called Sunsbrooke - one that has had its connection to God completely severed due to advanced magic that was being used to allow creatures of hell to manifest in the waking world. as a consequence, almost nothing can enter or leave the town, as it loops infinitely back on itself. effectively shutting them in with the consequences of their actions.

The Church of The Abandoned, as part of the Condemned Ministry, established itself as a governmental entity, out of the many years of madness and anarchy that followed The Severing. and whatever folk remained just sortof blindly followed along with the remaining semblance of organized leadership that they had.

Divisions are an extension of the church given out to the layman, and most were recruited through a process known as the 'Discipleship Program' .

Division 6 is a division specifically designed to study and observe the effects of soul-splitting (exactly what it sounds like) on real people, with a submission of crippling cultist activity, by any means necessary.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of sects of religions and practice that most would view as satanic or immoral cropped up during the many years of anarchy, and with powerful magic being a contract and handshake away? who WOULDN'T want to give up their lives for a taste of that power.

These members are given access to BOTH suites of magic - holy and hell, something that has never been attempted since The Severing. through hard possession, one angel, and one Baphomet in each respective half of their soul. Something thought impossible, since angels are known for completely scorching the internals of all the cursed and impure vessels with souls unprepared to receive them. effectively killing their hosts.

And now, the church sits watching with bated breath. Waiting to see what will come of these 12 young adults. They've funneled a lot of resources into them, preparing them from birth, adoption, or just the tiniest spark of faith for their mission: purify Sunsbrooke, and reestablish their link to the heavens.

Ophir, The Maiden, was the final and most recent addition to the team, which has been running cult-crippling operations out of the church for almost a year now. She possesses the strongest connection to an Angel ever observed in all the years of the Ministry.

And so they sit as this militant group for their government, fighting for their faith, their friends, or whatever they have left.
