So while discussing Dark Souls and PVP, my best friend (and soon to be assistant director of the blog) proposed the idea of hosting a Dark Souls PVP tournament. We'd set up a location, establish rules of some sort, organize SL balanced bouts, etc...  Before we go through the trouble of making it happen, I just wanted to take a quick survey to see what the expected turnout would be or if any of you would even be interested. For now it would be just for the PS3 players, but if the interest was high enough we would try to organize one for Xbox as well.  If anybody has any questions or suggestions, just send me a message or answer this post, I want to see what you guys think.

So here are my thoughts on the additional content for the PC version...

FROM insists that they developed the PC version "as a thank you to their loyal fans that have been there since the beginning". Well that doesn't make any sense because the loyal fans that have been there since the beginning are the console players, PS3 players to be more specific. So why would FROM thank their fans by dangling new content in front of their faces just out of reach? Exactly, they wouldn't.

Sales. It's about sales. Namco Bandai and FROMSOFTWARE are businesses. They release a new version with new content exclusive to PC with no outwardly expressed intentions to make said content available for other platforms. What will that make many diehard fans do? Go buy the PC version, of course. Trust me, the DLC will come, but it won't be any time soon, at least not while the PC version is fresh out of the oven.

They're backpedaling. They want to stall us and keep us on our toes. They know that most people that play console games don't also play PC games. The two markets don't generally mix. They also know that 100% of their fanbase is console based, prior to the release of course. They want to keep us interested, and is it not working? These companies are not stupid.

So there you have it. My three major reasons why the DLC will most definitely come. So stop worrying and start playing the waiting game because even if the DLC absolutely will come, it won't be here any time soon.

It is a sad day in Demon's Souls history

For those of you that don't already know, the Demon's Souls online servers will be shut down permanently on May 31st of this year. Sorry if this is old news for some of you, but I'm just finding out myself and felt obligated to share. A sad day indeed...

What's everybody think of the coming announcement?

For those of you that don't know, the Dark Souls Facebook has an app that's been collecting "likes" in order to break a wall that will reveal an announcement of some sort. It's up to around 7,000 already and the wall's condition has been deteriorating. What do you guys think (or hope) the announcement will be? I personally hope it's not announcing the PC version, as that has already been pretty much confirmed. I'm hoping for some DLC maybe or more info on the next Souls installment. Let me know what you think.

Been having a lot of personal things going on and I honestly just haven't had the time or motivation to post anything. I'm sorry to be so disappointing this past month or so, I promise I'll be posting more again.

I'm not dead

I'm awake. I'm restless. I think I'll play a little. I really haven't been playing (or posting, obviously) much, to be honest. Just got a new longboard and have been on it ever since. Between work, school, the gym, my (anti)social life, and now a new board to ride with the nice weather we've been having, I just haven't had much time. Not to mention, I feel as though I just keep disappointing you guys every day that passes without any videos to post. Regardless, you guys can still find me online and do a little co-op. After all, this blog was initially made to help my fellow undead, it'd be nice to do so first hand. Just find me on PSN (six-hundred) and send a message either here or there.
