i wonder where sol went...
I'm back! I missed everyone so much! How have your holidays been?
[Kotone paused for a moment, trying to make sure she wouldn’t stutter. Looking down at her shoes, she quickly mumbled out a response, then asked him her question.] Willyougotothedancewithme?Â
[She tried not to look at his face, guessing that he’d say no. She bit her lip, resigning herself to a friday evening of either being alone at the dance or staying in her room. Tears began to well up in her eyes, but she forced herself not to cry- Silver had always called her weak for crying. Still, she couldn’t bring herself to meet his eyes. What if he said no?]
[He sort of scrunched his face in an attempt to decipher what she just said. It could have come off the wrong way, but in all honesty, he didn’t think he quite caught her question since she had blurted it out so fast. A moment of thought of figuring it out, and then it hit him. Rolling his eyes up and sort of nodding his head in realization, he sighed.]
Why are you asking me? You know I don’t like dances… or social gatherings… or even people for that matter. [He seemed genuinely confused. Seriously, why the hell would she ask him? This is dumb.]
[Out of the corner of her eye, Kotone noticed Silver's scrunched-up face. Was he mad? Offended? Irritated? His answer confused her even more- Why was she asking him? Sure, she didn't want to be the only one going alone, but why Silver? He (as he told her many, many times) hated social gatherings...]
Well, I really didn't want to go alone, and I figured you weren't going without being asked to go, and I wanted you to be there! It'll be fun! [She grinned at him, hoping he'd say yes.]
Kotone wanted to go to the dance, but she didn’t want to go alone! She wondered, for the millionth time, why she was asking someone if they could go as friends instead of asking someone that she might like, but then she remembered what happened last time she asked a guy she liked to a dance. Biting her lip, she looked nervously for him. What if he said no? He’d never really gone to dances that often before, but she really didn’t want to be the only one there without a date… Walking over to the redheaded boy, she waited until he noticed her standing behind him. “S-silver? Can I ask you something?”
[Silver was minding his own business when he felt a presence behind him. It took him a moment to realize that the person was actually try to catch his attention, since they were standing directly behind him waiting, but when he did, he sighed and turned. It was none other than Kotone. He should have figured it out from the immediate migrane he got when he noticed someone behind him. Annoying people tend to do that to him. Moving on, Silver shoved his hands in his pockets and peered at her sternly]Â
… What is it? And if you say anything else with that dumb stutter, I’m walking away. [He gets enough of the stuttering shit as it was, he didn’t need it from her too.]
[Kotone paused for a moment, trying to make sure she wouldn't stutter. Looking down at her shoes, she quickly mumbled out a response, then asked him her question.] Willyougotothedancewithme?Â

[Glaring at him, she fixes her hair. Knowing how much it irritates him, she gives him a hug, then pulls on his hair somewhat viciously] No, you definitely have girly hair!
Ugh!!— Will you get off me?! [pushes her off and looks at her angrily] You really haven’t changed a bit. You’re still annoying and weak, not to mention how little you’ve grown physically. [Frankly, everything about her was more than annoying. It was disappointing.]
Tch, at least Kris and Hibiki grew up a bit. You’re the same as you were years ago.
[And with that, he walked away grumbling to himself] ..and my hair’s not girly, goddamnit…
[Suddenly, she's so angry she wants to slap him. She clenches her fists at her sides and screams at him, trying not to cry.] I'M NOT WEAK!!! [she blinks back tears, unable to see his reaction]Â
I'm not weak anymore! I've been trying and trying to get stronger... [a tear slides down her cheek] I get it, Silver. I'll never be strong enough for you to respect me...
[still glaring] It doesn’t matter!!!!
[she sticks her tongue out at him] Well you still have long, girly hair!!
Heh, you’re definitely acting like it matters.
[His smirk quickly escapes his face at the idea of anything about him being girly. He glared at her, patting his head on the top of her head and messing up her hair quite a lot] Shut it. My hair’s fine.
[Glaring at him, she fixes her hair. Knowing how much it irritates him, she gives him a hug, then pulls on his hair somewhat viciously] No, you definitely have girly hair!
[she pouts childishly, glaring] You’re not that much taller than me!!! Only like… half a foot… [she grumbles]
[lets a slight smirk slide onto his lips] Enough to matter.Â
When I said you haven’t changed much, that included your height. [among other things, he thought to himself.] ..
[still glaring] It doesn't matter!!!!
[she sticks her tongue out at him] Well you still have long, girly hair!!
That’s go- SILVER!!! Be NICE!!!! [she doesn’t stay mad at him for more than a few seconds, and smiles again]
Well, I don’t know if you’re saying that as a good thing or a bad thing, but I’m going to consider it a good thing! [she grins] You haven’t changed much either!
[Silver simply stays silent and rolls his eyes, not even trying to argue with her. He knew he wasn’t being nice after all]
Tch, whether I look it or not, I have gotten a lot stronger.
… And taller. [raising his chin a bit, he checks the distance between his head and Kotone’s.]
[she pouts childishly, glaring] You're not that much taller than me!!! Only like... half a foot... [she grumbles]
[grumbles]
I’m fine, can you get off me?
Fine… [she stops hugging him] Have you seen Kris or Hibiki yet?
Yeah, I have.
Hibiki’s the same shitfaced-moron I remember him as… Kris has changed though.
[looks at Kotone for a moment, shoving his hands in his pockets] …You haven’t changed much.
That's go- SILVER!!! Be NICE!!!! [she doesn't stay mad at him for more than a few seconds, and smiles again]

Ugh!!— [thrown off balance a little, but he regains it quickly, just standing there… letting her hug him…]Â
Hi.. [rolls his eyes and stands stiff] Kotone…
[She grins] I haven’t seen you in FOREVER!!! How are you?
[grumbles]
I’m fine, can you get off me?
Fine... [she stops hugging him] Have you seen Kris or Hibiki yet?

[ tennis courts - open ]
Blue reached for her water bottle outside of the boundary lines on the tennis court. Practice wasn’t scheduled for the day, but she wanted to brush up on her skills just the same. After all, despite her nonchalant attitude towards almost anything or anyone, she put a lot of effort into the things she actually cared about. And that included her spot on the tennis team.
After taking a sip of her drink, she wiped some of the sweat off of her forehead with the back of her palm and grabbed one of the tennis balls. She bounced it against the court a few times before taking a swing at it with her racket, sending it flying over the net and crashing against the fence that was set up around the court to keep the tennis balls from escaping.Â
Setting up another serve, she used a bit too much power in her swing and sent the ball flying over the fence. Before she could run out to grab it, she saw it heading for someone and winced.
“Hey,” she yelled out, cupping her hands around her mouth to make her voice louder. “Look out!”
Kotone liked to wander around the school when she'd finished her homework. Grabbing her (ridiculous) hat, she left the dorms and decided to go toward the tennis courts. Humming softly to herself as she walked, Kotone smiled as she saw the tennis courts- she hadn't gotten lost for once!
Looking through the fence, she noticed a girl, probably a year or two older than her, practicing. She waved at her, trying to get her attention, but it didn't work. The other girl was completely focused, as if she was in a trance.Â
She sighed and turned to leave. She'd wanted to make new friends because she's a dumb shit but no one else was here other than the girl who was clearly busy. Walking around the tennis courts, she was about to leave when she heard someone yell. Spinning around, she was just in time to get hit in the side of the head with a tennis ball, and she fell to the ground.

SILVER!!!!!!! [she tackles him in a hug]
Having finally finished her homework, Kotone walked into the common room, hoping to find someone to hang out with. Noticing no one else there, she sat down on an armchair and curled up, trying to think of something to do. She yawned- she hadn't slept much over the past few nights, and she was soon asleep.
After what seemed like a few hours, she felt a poke on her shoulder. Rubbing her eyes, she said, "Huh? Hello?"
Kotone giggled. She was used to Solana’s slightly-unusual descriptions now. The shop looked really cute! Nodding, she grinned. “Ok, Castelia! But first, ice cream…” Kotone smiled at the thought of her favorite food. Dragging Solana into the shop, she looked at the many flavors they had there. “Hmm… maybe I should try another…”
Smiling, she asked for two scoops of dulce de leche ice cream. Turning to her best friend, she asked, “I’ll wait over there, ok?” She pointed to a table with a couple of chairs.Â
Solana stumbled after her best friend as she was dragged to the front of the line. When Kotone picked her ice cream and sat at their table, she was still at the ice cream stand, choosing between strawberry and chocolate. She finally shrugged and chose to have the best of both worlds.
Joining Kotone at their table, Solana finished a lick of the chocolate before facing her friend. “So what’s up with you?”
Kotone giggled. Solana would pick both instead of choosing one. Excitedly eating her ice cream, she paused for a second to answer Solana's question. "Hmm, not much, I guess! I've actually been trying really hard to study, but it hasn't been helping much..." Smiling and taking another lick of her ice cream, she asked, "What have you been doing lately?"Â
She kept eating the ice cream, and finished it in a matter of a few minutes.Â
Kotone giggled, excited. She never would have thought that she and Solana would be best friends, but they were actually really close. “Strawberry? Ok! I’m thinking dulce de leche!” They walked out of the dorms together, laughing and talking. Kotone was glad she had listened to Sol when she’d said that she had to get out of her dorm and have fun.
Grinning, Kotone looked around as she asked, “So, Sol, where do you want to go after we get ice cream?” Now that she was out of her dorm, she wanted to have fun! Besides, she knew Sol liked shopping even more than she did.Â
“Dulce de leche? Someone’s getting fancy!” she laughed. She hooked her arm in Kotone’s own, and led her to a small ice cream shop she stumbled upon one day when she skipped class. “This place has the best ice cream. It’s like an orgasm in your mouth.” Solana was always saying things like this; a small price to pay for being her friend.
“After ice cream, I say we head to Castelia,” Solana said. There, they could shop for clothes, boys, and even have more food. “It’s teenage girl heaven down there. Any objections, Koto?”
Kotone giggled. She was used to Solana's slightly-unusual descriptions now. The shop looked really cute! Nodding, she grinned. "Ok, Castelia! But first, ice cream..."
