Checking her phone for any missed messages, Hikari walked into the library and sat down at the first empty table she saw. A couple of weeks back, she had promised Fire that she would help him with his classes so he could stay on the basketball team, and he was finally cashing in on the offer. Just earlier he had texted her about meeting up, and as soon as she got a free second she rushed over.

Hikari set her book down on the table and hung her bag on the back of her chair. She figured that tutoring Fire in biology probably wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world, but she didn't like going back on promises. Plus she thought he was a pretty cool guy and there was no real reason not to help him.

Putting her hair up in a high ponytail, she opened up her notebook, then tapping a pencil and waiting for him to arrive.
