Wraith is above all a story about human connection and the many forms it can take. I wanted to dispel the illusion fed to us by mass media that there are correct ways to be and become friends, partners, lovers. Also discussing the painful consequences which follow if we try to find a quick fix for ourselves. Even though Wraith is tragic and gritty, at its core I want it to be one of the stories that lift the guilt of being different and feeling alien that lot of us experience. It is certainly something I had been carrying around for a long time. Thus I believe it is a story of reconciliation between the monstrosity of living and snippets of freedom which we can find in the most unusual places both around and inside us.
