âł a child with a child.
motherly figure â-Â sana.
sana shrugged, laughing a bit at the otherâs realization of what he âshouldâveâ been doing. âitâs okay,â she noted, âitâs nice to see someone play with jaejin, and iâm fine doing what i need to,â she pointed out. truth be told, to get the food set out was much easier than entertaining a baby sometimes and it seemed that youngjae had the latter figured out.
âalmost rambling?â she teased. youngjae was like a kid brother to her even if he was actually older than her. it didnât feel like it sometimes, but she knew it was also because she had to grow up a lot in the last few months, raising a kid and all. there was no time to be a child anymore. she had bigger responsibilities to handle. âiâm okay,â she nodded her head. âa lot of sleepless nights, but chansik and i are overall okay i think so things are fine.â a lot of things werenât fine, but she wasnât really the type to just lay out every little detail of her life.
âwhat?â she looked down at the food and shook her head. âoh, no no.â she laughed almost a little too loudly. âiâve been here in seoul long enough that i donât need to have japanese food often,â she noted. âthanks though!â how precious, she thought to herself.
he nodded his head, â yeahâ almost rambling ! â he exclaimed again, a smile on his face from his own use of words. he was happy to be able to make her tease around and ease whatever stress she mightâve been carrying because she was like family to him. she usually had to take care of him ( even if he was older ), but it was nice to be able to do something for her, even if it was from him being childish. his smile dropped from her words ( maybe he was just overreacting? ), â you think you guys are okay? â his tone was filled with worry, â if heâs being mean to you, tell me sana. and iâll slap some sense into him ! âÂ
he bowed his head again even though she had said it was fine that he had only gotten korean food for them to eat. â still, sana, if i were in your shoes i would still want to eat it ! but weâre also very different people ! so if you want me japanese food just tell me, if not, then letâs just dig in ! â he looked at her with a smile, happy that she was living comfortably in korea. some people who moved wouldnât be able to give up the food they eat ( he knew he wouldnât be able to give up korean food ever ).Â
he rested his head on his hand, looking over to her child. â heâs cute, you know? â he looked back over at her, giving her a smile, â and when he grows up, i know heâll be just as beautiful, amazing, and kind-hearted as his mother. â he couldnât imagine jaejin turning out any other way with a lovely mother like sana, â everyone will love him more that we already do. â
