“The problem exists with or without me. I’m just having fun. Well, if it makes you feel any better I would treat you the same even if we were both human. I don’t give a damn about the politics of all the species.” Isaac was quickly growing bored with the conversation until the slave threw his final question at him. Tapping his chin in thought, he considered his answer for a moment. “I haven’t done anything to you that should warrant for revenge against me but if that’s how you want it… I hope it’s sexy,” he finished with a wink. Although his tone had stayed consistently playfully, a dark undertone seemed to trace the last of his words.

“You only think you haven’t done anything to warrant revenge.” Jake told him, no stranger to that dark undertone, though it didn’t seem to rattle the werewolf. “And I make no promises that it would be sexy.” In fact, he returned the dark undertone with a hint of a challenge to it.

He clicked his tongue momentarily before he tipped his head, seemingly thinking over what Jake had said. “That isn’t a terrible idea…” Pitting the Argint’s against each other certainly could prove to be fruitful. After all, human’s were always power hungry. It was a fact that Gabriel often depending on when making his deals with them. “Perhaps that could work…”

“There’s always someone waiting to dethrone the ones at the top.” Jake said, shrugging one shoulder. “No matter what species.” They just seemed to like thinking it was humans that were particularly vulnerable to that.

Rather than reply to Jake’s initial question, Gabriel simply made a face before the corners of his mouth resumed their smirk. “Any weaknesses with the Argint’s that may be beneficial? That is assuming any of them have deemed you nice enough to grace their beds.”

“I’ve managed to avoid them so far, to be honest.” He said, not knowing how quickly that would change, “But I’ve heard rumours the head of the family is getting on. Means power could be changing hands soon. Maybe someone could turn his kids against each other, have them fight for the leadership position, might distract them.”

An amused look flickered across Gabriel’s features. “And how, exactly, did you discover these weaknesses? Because I have this hilarious image in my head of you ramming into the fence over and over again.”

Jake couldn’t help scowling slightly, “Do I look like that big an idiot? I used my ears.” The werewolf shook his head a little. “Of course, trying to use those weaknesses can get fairly obvious and then when guards decide you’re the one to be watched it’s difficult to exploit it.”

“No, no it’s not an excuse. Just a matter of fact.” The grin returned to his lips as he shook his head. “The position you’re in is cruel but it’s not like I directly put you there. Without our technology humans could have easily lost and then which of us would be on the outside of the bars, hm?” He chuckled. “Well, maybe I am a little cruel but I make it all worth it in the end. I’d love to see you get that revenge someday.”

“It’s an excuse, your privilege just lets you think it isn’t.” He said flatly. “For starters, you’re still contributing to the problem, and secondly - I hate to break it to you - but I certainly wasn’t a werewolf for any fighting that took place back then. I was born human and only became a wolf basically the same day I came here. So if humans had lost, I’d probably still be human and in the same position.” Jake might not have cared for the power struggle but he couldn’t say the same for all supernatural creatures, and certainly there would have been those who would have created this very situation in reverse. “Oh really? Even if it was on you?”

“More than acceptable, hmn? Someone’s is confident.” Amusement flickered over his features before it disappeared and a stoic mask was once more in place. “Well, let’s start with what you know about this place, yes?”

“That’s fairly broad. What part of what I know about this place do you want to know about?” He asked, “I can tell you that every weakness I’ve found in that damn electric fence, they’ve been quick to fix.”

“I’m not asking you to believe me,” he stated, features falling into a neutral expression as he picked out his words carefully. “I like having fun. Seeing you in pain… only fun in certain contexts,” he said with a brief grin before it fell again. “But hey, it’s not like I have to care about what you think of me which I’m not saying to be cruel it’s just the privilege of my position,” he mused with shrug. “What would you do if it were creatures like you on top, hm?”

“Ahhh and when you can explain away any cruelty like that with ‘it’s just the privilege of my position’, suddenly you think you aren’t cruel. You recognise the privilege and yet you don’t truly recognise the cruelty.” Jake shook his head. “Well, when I was first turned I would have insisted on equality, but now? After years of playing slave to creatures like you I would take my revenge.”

A deal with an Argint was worse than a deal with Satan, with one… you possessed hope, not with the other. The slave had to understand the risks of what he was asking this man, he had no idea what danger he constructed for his sister. “If you’re satisfactory, I’ll bring her here. Take off your collar, momentarily and allow you to turn her.” A pause in his statement as he thought about the latter part of the question. “You won’t be punished, I’ll give that order to anyone that tries.” His geriatric father might’ve ruled the island with an iron fist and he did, but nobody dared going against him seeing as he was one of the two next in line to assume command, all except for his brother. “If you turn her, she won’t be made into a slave. We will kill her. She has nothing that we want her to be a slave for, she’ll be sentenced to death.” That’s what Jake had to understand. “You have to decide, is your sister’s worth getting revenge on, is what she did so horrible that you’d have her murdered?”

“I got bitten defending her.” Jake told the man, deciding he might as well tell the story. After all, it would be all too easy for him to find it out anyway. “Years ago, a werewolf killed our mother. Then a hunter killed him. An Alpha turned up to get revenge. Went right for Laura, and I jumped in the way - I’m sure you know a human - particularly one with no hunting experience isn’t much of a match for a werewolf. She latched on and threw me clear across the room. I don’t think she was thinking much about turning me. Probably thought that would kill me itself.” 

Out of pure instinct, he gingerly rubbed the spot of the bite, even though the skin showed nothing to a human eye. “I realised I was okay and that I had claws and fangs. Glowing eyes too, but I couldn’t see them - just knew my senses were better. I didn’t know how to shift fully but it was enough. I attacked the wolf before she could bite Laura. Took some pretty serious wounds before - before I tore out her heart. Didn’t even know I’d become an Alpha until I got here and another werewolf told me. But Laura... The way she looked at me.. I’d just saved her fucking life, at the expense of my human one and almost at the expense of any life and what did she do? She had me sent here.” Jake was snarling but there was no aggression directed at Cash. The werewolf was sure that the man would just as readily do the same thing to anyone he knew that was turned but it didn’t make it burn any less for Jake.

“Starting to think a gag is the way to go with you,” Kingston stated instead of replying to the other males sarcastic words. He just circled around the slave for a moment, taking in the sight of him on his knees before curling his fingers back into the collar and pulling him forward. He made him crawl until he got to the bench he wanted to use and Kingston hooked him there so the slave couldn’t move very far.

Once he was happy with where the wolf was, then Kingston removed him of what few articles of clothing he had on until the slave was naked in front of him. Right now it was nothing sexual, though Kingston would admit he was already half-hard just at the thought of what he could do to this slave. But right now it was just about putting the other male in his place.  He shifted his body so he was right in front of the wolf and looked down at him. “Now the only question is where to start. I’m not asking because I want input so don’t give it or I’ll gag you.” Mostly the master was just dragging this on a little bit to be an asshole when truthfully he was more then ready to start giving this wolf what he deserved.

He just grunted in response to that at first, awkwardly shuffling forward on his knees as his collar was pulled on and shortly finding himself attached to the bench. The support it gave was only fractionally welcomed, knowing things would get uncomfortable soon. He welcomed the pain, even if he wouldn’t say as much, waiting with hidden impatience.

“Why on earth would I want to give you any input on where you should start?” Jake asked before adding in a faux-placid tone, “Oops. I think that was input.” He wasn’t afraid of a gag and he rather did like goading the human. Maybe it would be the something missing in this hit of pain. Something about it never had quite seemed to hit the right spot for Jake lately.

“Oh, never say never.” He chuckled, fluttering his eyes in a mock innocent look. “Me? Cause trouble for you? Why would I do that when you have such a pretty face? I’m hardly cruel.” Issac stopped short of the fence, reminded of its security by the low hum of electricity, instead he stepped forward into the other’s space. “I’m just telling you to be careful because I don’t want to see someone get hurt solely for wanting their freedom.”

“Oh, that’s rich.” Jake commented, “You don’t want me hurt for wanting my freedom and you’re supposedly not cruel or wanting to cause trouble for me, but you’re more than happy for me to be held prisoner? Why would anyone believe you, even if you were putting more effort into the words?”

His smile only grew with each passing word. “Now that is devious, and something I can certainly appreciate. Because it’s true, there are things far worse than death… and turning someone you once cared for into something they’d rather die than be? That’s absolutely wicked… and I love it.” His smile was so broad it showed nearly all his white teeth before he relaxed it and nodded. “I suppose you’ll make an acceptable ally in getting the hell out of this place.”

“What can I say, I’ve had a long time to think about the possibilities. That one... that one seems the best.” The demon enjoying it so much should have scared him more than it did but he was angry. It had been a long time in here, the things you once held dear started to slip. And he’d been slipping too. “I think you’ll find me more than acceptable.”

“You mentioned a sister.” Gabriel replied with ease, tipping his head a bit as he took in Jake and his body language. What someone did was nearly always as important as what someone said. “It’s been my experience in the past that humans are most reluctant to betray family. They’ll do it, clearly, but someone have misplaced loyalty… even former humans.”

“Even if I couldn’t or wouldn’t get revenge on her for whatever reason - that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want it on any other human.” Jake told him. “They’re not all my sister. And besides, revenge doesn’t have to be killing her. I could just turn her. Make her into one of us, let her deal with feeling the horror she apparently felt about me, about herself.”

Venturing further into the cell, the cell obstruction closed behind him as he guided the wolf back up against the wall. “In life, you should already know, you can’t get something for nothing.” A deal, to be made, Jake had to give up something to get his sister here. “I want you to drop your pants, turn around and spread ‘em.” Times like these, he didn’t feel like taking slaves out and to his place of residence, besides, this was a business transaction. “After I’m done, I’ll have your sister here within the hour, locked in this cage with you and I’ll consider taking off your collar. If you’re good enough.”

He allowed himself to be backed up against the wall, though he was still watching with distrusting eyes. Jake hadn’t made up his mind about the man yet. “Believe me, I’ve learned that lesson.” He mumbled, taking a deep breath as the terms were given. It didn’t seem like much to give but he wasn’t sure what he might be surprised with. “And if you’re satisfied enough to take my collar off and I just turn her but don’t kill her - you make her a slave too and that’s that. There’s no punishment if that’s my choice?” But he was hooking his fingers into both the shorts and the briefs he was wearing even as he asked. He wanted those terms to be clear but he was doing it, despite a small part of him surprised at that dark piece of him.

She was! She was a wise woman, unfortunately, her fate was delivered to her not long ago. Living with someone like his father for years and years and years would’ve killed anyone before their time. His index finger brushed against the wolf’s eyebrow. “I can make that happen, but what are you going to do for me to convince me to bring your sister here?” If Jake wanted to smack her around or kill her, he didn’t care, he’d make a show out of it. “You have to give me something, first.”

He managed to not recoil as he felt that finger brush over his brow, stunned that someone was even considering the request. But he supposed someone who had more power over the island had the pull to do it. “Would you even take the collar off? Just while I deal with her, of course.” This he wasn’t so sure would be considered but if he was going to sell his soul he was damn well going to get the most out of it. Of course, he wasn’t entirely sure the man would come through with his end of the deal but he would weigh that up in a moment. 

“What do you want from me?”

“My mother always used to tell me, don’t let nobody tell you your life is over.” Out of generations of Argints, his mother had to be the most beautiful, innocent, righteous soul he’d ever encountered and that ate at him, how could she be so nice, all of the time. Really got on his nerves most of the time. “But I’m telling you, it’s over. As for your sister, I don’t know her and I don’t care if she lives or dies, you’re here. She’s not. You better stop worrying about her and worry more about you and your situation because you’re in my world, now.”

“She sounds like a wise woman. My human life might be over but my life as a werewolf has just begun.” He told the man, “And I don’t intend to spend it all in here.” He could take that however he liked. “As for my sister, since she was the one who betrayed me to put me here, she has a lot to do with my situation.” Eyes hard, he got a little closer, maybe even within arm’s range. “If you don’t care if she lives or dies, maybe you should find her and bring her here to me. I’ll decide her fate. That I might even behave for.” Not that he was entirely sure what he’d do if he was presented with his sister.

“Nobody has that kind of power except for one man and that man, he’s going out to pasture soon, he doesn’t even count anymore.” It was just a matter of when his father left this world, then everything on the island would belong to Cash and his brother. “If I go, there’s other people that’s more ruthless than me that’ll take over and I’m sure you don’t want that. I can be humble and kind-hearted if you just do as you’re told.” If not, well, a few slaves weren’t there anymore, for specific reasons.

“That’s what you think.” Jake smirked slightly, “Expect the unexpected or you might lose what you consider yours.” Why he was giving advice, he didn’t know - although the man didn’t seem to be taking any of it on board and it was needling at him. “Humble and kind-hearted?” The werewolf laughed, “Where was humble and kind-hearted when I sacrificed my human life to save my sister, hm? I’ll tell you - not there.”
