And the people hide their faces And they hide their eyes ‘Cause the city’s dyin’ And they don’t know why
Oh, Baltimore Ain’t it hard just to live?

John Balcerzak and Joseph Gabrish were the two police officers who returned 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone to Jeffrey Dahmer after they found him stumbling down the road, bleeding. He had been drugged and raped by Jeffrey Dahmer yet managed to escape. The officers were fired after their actions were publicised, including an audiotape of the officers making homophobic comments to their dispatcher and laughing and joking about having reunited the “lovers”. In reality, they had just returned a teenage boy to the man who would, in moments later, kill him. As soon as Sinthasomphone was back in the apartment, Dahmer murdered him.
woowwwww
Wtf …… bruh ……..
Those police officers appealed their firing, were rehired, and received $65000 each in back pay. John Balcerzak later became the president of the Milwaukee Police Association 2005 - 2009.

I’m not sure what I’ll do, but— well, I want to go places and see people. I want my mind to grow. I want to live where things happen on a big scale.

A Palestinian father playfully balances his son on his right hand at the beach in Gaza City early one evening.
The coast of Gaza has grown increasingly popular over the years. It had always been a sight for weary eyes but with Israel’s siege denying Gazans the freedom to move, its seemingly endless seascape offers, for many, a very tangible escape, even if only temporal. It has also become a very popular family destination. Entire meals are prepared, served, and eaten here, and it is not uncommon to stay the night, father, son, and all.

Masha’Allah. This is really refreshing. I hate that I only see Gazans on my dash when they’re bleeding and broken.
After posting the first picture on my facebook one of my male friends messaged me and told me that he loved all of the body positive posts I always made but he wished there were more body positive posts for men as well. And I agree. Body positivity isn’t gendered, and there should be pictures shining positivity on every gender!!
