I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but how do you keepnyour hand from smudging your pencil art?

I usually use a clear plastic bag (the kinds I put my prints/stickers in) to shield my hand from the page. But before I came across those, another piece of paper works perfectly! It's just that having it clear is nice so you can still see the rest of your drawing.

College Ford looks like the textbook visual for a squeaky toy sound effect. To me. His face is just so itty bitty cutie patootie compared to adult+old ford. (Their bill design is a cutie pie too. It's all just too much, I can't handle it 😭)

Hey, I have a question. Would you mind if I made a reference to your Stanford propaganda thing from last year in my get Bill Cipher pregnant propaganda art? I just mean referencing the idea and maybe the poster in a piece of art I am making for propaganda. I understand if not, I just figured it would be an amusing way to introduce the realization for Bill.

Blue Skidoo, WE CAN TOO! 🪐

Here's my other latest and greatest illustration!! Blue and Steve skidoo-ing into space. Inspired by the planet song, and of course all the wondrous joy this show brought to us as kids, and now comforting nostalgia as adults.

I also made this print in preparation for c2e2, because my sister LOVES Blues Clues, and I knew Steve would be there. It was so surreal and cool to have people buy this print, and then to come back and show it to me with Steves signature. I still think about it and fangirl out!! :'D

Gotta love a good summer fun filler episode! Just a chill (albeit very hot) day at Gelato Beach. 🏖️

Before c2e2 last month, I was debating on what new prints I could crank out before the show. Since I have a lot of 4 x 6 photo paper, I figured a mini print set was in order. And what could possibly be more fun than drawing cutesy pinups of the Mario girls at the beach??? It was a no brainer. I just made these available to buy at my store. Here's a link!

Halfway through drawing these, I was like ok, who the FUCK is taking these pictures. I could only think of one character. Can someone PLEASE point me to the "you can now play as luigi" meme where they put it next to a video of someone getting accepted to their dream college. So they and their family are screaming and freaking out and stuff. I SWEAR I reblogged it years ago and I cant find it anywhere, not on youtube either. HELP!!!!!!!!!

I think this video stands out in my memory because for maybe ten seconds, I believed that these people were really that overjoyed by the fact that they could play as luigi. Really and truly that enamored with the green plumber. And those ten seconds were magical. He deserves to be loved that much

Smiling friends people!

I want to do a smiling friends print before C2E2 next month. But I'm scratching my head. I want it to be somewhat different from the usual... obviously the break room is their home base, their most memorable setting, but I feel like it's a little been there done that? I think the only thing I could do to make it more visually interesting would be doing something wacky with the camera, like a super wide lense and an off kilter angle. But idk..... I want to do something fun.

If you have any ideas for a print (potentially 11 x 17 in size, so more of a full scene), please let me know your thoughts! Thank you!!

For details on the $50 commissions, please read below!

I’ve been having fun doing these $50 drawings! They’re more loosey goosey than my more expensive ones. I’ll draw 1-3 characters, and things like bust/halfbody/fullbody are all on the table. Basically, you can give me your character(s) and a prompt, and I’ll make you a pencil drawing from there! You can be as descriptive and specific as you want, or you can leave the specifics of the drawing to my interpretation. 

Some important things to note: 

I don’t do work in progress sketches for these $50 commissions. This helps me maintain that funky creative flow while I work on your drawing!

VERY important: There is a long wait time right now, because I have a number of commissions to work on already, and I always work on them chronologically. Please give me a big window of 6 months to make your drawing. There’s a good chance I’ll do your drawing sooner than six months, but I’m overestimating the time it will take so I feel less rushed. This also leaves room for things like breaks, and taking breaks from working on commissions helps me to draw better! If you feel compelled while waiting for your drawing to be finished, you can always reach out and ask about the status of your drawing; I really don’t mind!

Lil announcement,

I'm keeping my store sale going for another week!

I was originally going to end it when February started, but I'm a tad short on cash at the moment (understatement), so I'm extending it a bit! A lot of items are greatly reduced (50-80%), but the real deal is that you can request a small character sketch if you spend more than $20 on items! Just be sure to write what character you'd like me to draw in the note at checkout. Some people even had me draw their ocs by linking a reference pic in their note! (Alternative deal is a couple free stickers of your choice 😌)

I normally don't like sharing these doodles until about a month after they've been mailed (that way it's a surprise for the customer), but as an example,

Also, update for those of you who have already bought something:

I'm a little behind the 8 ball on mailing everything, but I did package a little over half the orders last week. I should have that half mailed within the next week, and the other half packaged and mailed within two weeks. I do everything chronologically, so if you submitted your order in December, it will be one of the ones that gets mailed sooner. Thank you for your patience!
