The year is 1976. Gone are the peaceful, worry free days when a muggleborn witch or wizard could walk carelessly through Diagon Alley; when a pureblood could talk to a muggle without worrying about their reputation; when two people from completely different backgrounds could fall in love. Times have changed. The wizarding and muggle communities alike have become consumed by fear due to the ever growing presence of Lord Voldemort. Even the seemingly impenetrable walls of Hogwarts cannot protect its students from the real world. Everyone knows its hard being a teenager, but the war brewing outside the castle walls has made it even more difficult. While dealing with friends, enemies, young love and schoolwork, the students of Hogwarts must decide whether or not they will side with or against the dark side. Join the Marauders and friends as they try to enjoy their last years as kids while struggling to live in a world where everything is changing.
Do you have some app count or something like that? I'm just curious. :)
No, I think a count is unnecessary. Since the RP is almost a year old, we don't receive an abundance of applications anymore, and when we do get one, I usually get back to the applicant as soon as possible to let them know if they've been accepted or not. The count would always be empty if we had one.
How's the summer going to play out, Queen MnM? How will we do it? How will it work?
Because summer is usually what destroys HP RPs (and we can’t have that happening), I’ve decided we’ll skip over most of it and only play out the first week of break and the last week of break. Or, if you would like, you can condense your characters’ entire summer into the two weeks given.
So from June 14th to June 21st RP time, it will be the first week of summer break. Then, we’ll be doing a sort of time jump and will be fast forwarding to August 25th when we’ll be finishing up the last week of break.
Does that make sense? If it doesn’t now, it will in the announcement I make tomorrow.

Martha did not like her magical abilities at first. She had no friends at school, because the other students thought she was weird. Her parents regarded her with caution and she was told to keep it a secret from her brothers. She didn’t want to go to Hogwarts and her first train ride was spent sulking in a carriage by herself. When she saw the castle, however, she fell in love. But before her hopes got too high, she discovered that wizards like her, muggle born wizards, were not liked at all by a significant amount of the wizarding population. During her second year, she was able to finally make some friends and as the years have gone one, her blood status practically doesn’t matter to her any more. Her sarcasm often leads her into trouble, but other than that she likes to make people laugh. The world needs laughter in dark times like this.
