“ did that first year just LICK his cat? ” leilani watched the younger year from her seat in the courtyard, all attention that had been on her book was switched to the group of first years nearby. “ i’m not one to judge but…he just licked his cat. ”
“He’s got an eccentric taste, don’t you think?” Roxy commented amusingly as she watched the whole scene. “Why don’t you ask him what does his cat taste like?”
“Why the bloody hell am I not asleep yet. Oh wait, maybe its because I can hear giggling from what I can only assume are third years. Bloody gits, don’t they know its late?”
“Go to sleep. I can deal with those girls. I always did in the past... I mean, sometimes I did.”
I was 16 when I quit gymnastics and decided to start acting. I started booking immediately after. I was very lucky and fortunate, but I also did the hard work. Half of it’s hard work and half of it’s luck. It’s been working out so far. Fingers crossed for the future.
“Hey! Can’t you watch where you’re going?!”
“I can’t. You gotta do that for me.”
“Okay, who gave the first years stink bombs? Seriously.”
"C'mon. Someone's gotta keep the Lockwood legacy alive."
“Roxanne Lockwood! My love is pure and innocent! How dare you try to sully it! Also, he seemed to be under the impression I was joking when I suggested it. Aliens are far superior that’s all you need to know. It’s where you buy records. To listen to music.”
“Hey, I was just asking. Nah, you’re far away from innocent and pure, Kiki. Well, some muggles think we’re always joking. Hell, they think witches and wizards only exist in fairy tales. Do they eat brains? Oh, Right. Got it. I gotta visit a record shop, you know. To listen to some rock songs. You know that song, take on me? It’s one of my favorites.”
“But I feel bad! I don’t want to trouble them!”
“Trouble them? You want to get yourself into trouble. If you don’t show them you’re interested, you’ll get a T.”
“Very cute. Tall, dark hair, the bluest eyes ever. Nice ass. Knows more about music than I can ever dream to. I mean, he plays like five instruments, it’s great. And he’s such a nerd, it’s adorable. Though he thinks zombies are cooler than aliens. But, you know, nobody’s perfect. Roxy! Come on!”
"Sounds like the perfect guy to hook up with. Did you guys do that? I only know zombies so I can't really choose. Well, sorry, I'm still trying to keep up with muggle life."
“I know that, but I’m one of those people who learn best from listening to a teacher, so I’m still at a disadvantage.”
"Talk to them, then? I think McGonagall wouldn't mind if you asked for a review. Especially because you're a good student, so..."
“I have NO IDEA how that got there– I certainly didn’t put it there, but I have an inkling of who might’ve,” And as if he were waiting for a cue, Peeves the fucking poltergeist zoomed past, giggling. “PEEVES!!”
"So, if you didn't put it there..." Roxy said slowly, realization slowly appearing on her face. Her eyes widened and an angry expression appeared as the poltergeist flew around them. "Guess what, you idiot?! I'm back! I'm gonna get my revenge on you!" Roxy shouted angrily as Peeves kept giggling.
‘ have your parents ever told you to S T O P asking so many questions and pause when you speak? you’re the most infuriating creature i have ever met. ’
"Could you be any more rude? Like, seriously. Just because he isn't a slytherin doesn't mean you have to treat him like that."
“Was visiting my brother in America worth missing the first bit of school? Hell yes. I met this boy at what muggles call a record shop and I’m in love. Just don’t tell Tate, I’m pretty sure that’s not what he wanted me to get out of my visit.”
"Oh my Merlin, tell me more about him! Is he cute? Got a nice ass? Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. By the way, what is a record shop, again?"
“I swear, it’s just my luck that I’d get a monster cold right as my seventh year starts. I can’t believe it, we’re barely in and I’m already behind, what am I going to do?”
"You can borrow someone else's notes, Brybry, it's not the end of the world, y'know. How do you think I graduated?"
“Of course I like you, don’t be silly.” Fatima replied with a wave of her hand dismissively at the thought, even though the blonde laughed as Roxy pulled her by her am and she already had enough bags in both hands ( the half-veela didn’t exactly need anything, but she in her opinion could never have enough dresses or skirts for that matter, and now that she was in fact an alumni she thought why not have a little shopping spree to celebrate. ) “I am smiling! I’m just not used to this much shopping. That’s true, we now have a little bit of free time on our hands. It’s just weird to think about all that, and I’m so happy, and so excited. I honestly don’t know if I’m more excited or both, I think I’m honestly somewhere in between both.”
"Neither do I, to be honest, but shopping makes everything better. Well, I was never prepared to grow up, be an adult, have my own responsabilities, I guess I'll never be. Knowing I won't be needing you to get my back everyday anymore is quite strange." She frowned thoughtfully as she entered a store. "I gotta enjoy my vacation as much as I can, because in a few months I'll be sending you owls and I'm pretty sure you'll be too busy to hang out. What are you going to do from now on, by the way?" Rox asked before her eyes landed on a yellow summer dress. "I think this one would look good on you."
‘ can i be HONEST for a minute? i’ve never gotten drunk before. that’s the biggest reason i have shot it down every chance i’ve had. everyone else seems to be able to handle their liquor and i didn’t want to come off as some lightweight – which i probably will be. ’
"A-ha! Got you! So that's why you're making excuses. Well, I'm gonna tell you something: You think you'll come off as some lightweight, but, in fact, you don't know if that's going to happen. Probabilities aren't facts. You'll never know if you don't try. Try it yourself, find your limits. Or you can do it with me, I can teach you how and what to drink. It's going to be fun."

If I feel confident wearing something, I think it translates in photographs. It changes my demeanor and posture.

“Fang Mangle!” Florence jumped, wide eyed and clutching her chest. “You scared the..” She paused, trying to remember the saying her muggle born friends used often. She always laughed at the strange sayings they came up with. “…the, the crap out of me!”
Once her heart rate had returned to a steady rate, Flo chuckled, embarrassed. “Sorry about that, I’d really appreciate some company, as long you promise to give my nerves a break for the rest of the journey, that is.”
Roxy couldn't help but laugh at Florence with wide eyes and a brief scared expression."Gotcha!" She winked playfully with a chuckle. "It's okay, really. I should be the one to apologize, though. But I was just kidding, I mean no harm. But sure thing. Your nerves will be rewarded. How about I teach you how to not get lost anymore?" She offered as she began to walk.
