Oh my gosh, you guys, Raven knows what really happened to Summer! That must be why she’s so jaded! She must have gone with summer to confront Salem and witnessed Summer dying and found out about Salem being invincible. Losing Summer is what pushed Raven over the edge!

You know, now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense that Ruby would go through some kind of reborn arc.

In the original little red riding hood story, little red actually gets eaten by the wolf and the woodcutter/huntsman has to cut her out. Little red comes out of the experience a different person with many interpreting it as rebirth.

I don’t know what Ruby is going to go through at the tree but maybe instead of being someone else, she’ll still be her but wiser.

And here we were thinking Weiss was the one with the childhood crush on the rusted knight, but after that small fan girl reaction, I think it was Blake!

Wow, this episode was such a parallel to the mountain Glenn one. How Weiss, Blake, and Yang had to really think about what they want to do in life with Ruby being the only one sure. Now, Ruby is the only one who doesn’t know what to be anymore.

I always thought that Blake did have a crush on sun but after beacon fell and yang lost her arm trying to protect her, Blake realized she had deeper feelings for yang

I’ve been hearing a lot today about the “You were never the hero” line being about Ruby or Yang, but honestly, my mind instantly went to Jaune. Jaune always wanted to be a hero and after being forced to kill Penny, something in his mind a hero would probably never do, makes him think he has never truly been one or will never be one. I think that’s what caused him to change into that knight.

Thoughts?
