when i posted her for the first time, lots of ppl were on the money over the fact that she and lu bu/fengxian were the same person.
in actuality they occupy the same body, occupying the same EGO, with lu bu piloting the body, and diaochan's lingering anger and resentment causing bouts of lost control and violence.
-a romeo and juliet situation between two syndicates, both were the heads' strongest weapons and their respected adopted children. Lu Bu to Dong Zhuo, Diaochan to Wang Yun - they encountered each other, respecting each other's strength and became fast friends
-lu bu admired diaochan's beauty, unsure however, if he wanted to be with her or be her, he started to grow his hair out and stash cutesy hair accessories, his scrunchie being a gift from diaochan after she noticed his new habits
-diaochan grew resentment over her appearance being used, resenting that her beauty meant more jobs relating to it, to charming seedy people, to being used as an object of admiration - she just wanted to exist as a person
-planning on running away together, they were overheard by dong zhuo's lackeys and a scheme was made to keep wang yun's syndicate under his control while also keeping "his prized stallion" lu bu in check: an arranged marriage with diaochan, agreed upon by wang yun (intending to use it as a ploy for control as well), diaochan was informed and forced into silence, fengxian remained uninformed (naively believing his hedonistic father was planning yet another banquet)
-on the wedding night, diaochan snapped, her anger and resentment culminating her into killing as much as she could, her father dead and dong zhuo near death - lu bu who had been waiting for her in their rendezvous, returned to see the aftermath - getting caught in the crossfire and killing some of his own men. Seeing diaochan, they run away together and were on the run until lu bu sacrificed himself with both his life and innocence, taking the credit that he caused the mass slaughter and fire to protect diaochan
-in grief over losing her only friend, she convenient met someone who offered to keep him alive, putting them both thru a procedure that intertwined their nervous systems together into diaochan's body - making them occupy and control the same body and EGO
-prior to the company, lu bu had been adjusting to her new body, keeping up pretenses that she is diaochan and keeping the original diaochan's festering anger and grief buried deep, she's still rather awkward about herself because of all the pressure and repression
-their arc is all about vindication and self love, with diaochan avenging herself once again from an alive dong zhuo with her rightous fury and lu bu accepting herself - both finding ways of accepting themselves and carving their own freedom from people who used them in different ways
-in the end, they come into one being made by a person who wished to simply exist as she is and someone who loved her for that, still named diaochan and piloted by lu bu - who as she says "it's a name chosen and kept with love"

There's a point in the canto where Lu Bu and Diaochan are split apart, and Lu Bu is forced to feel that withdrawal and the reasons as to why. In the dungeon, the sinners are blocked by an Abno known as The Three Beauties who demand to be shown a beautiful person - so Lu Bu delegates herself and dances to prove herself.

By all accounts, a charming young woman who is reliable and capable of any tasks especially combat. The main thing to consider about her is she says strange comments about her own identity, and may be caught in freudian slips such as "I could have reached that in my original height...", "She's laying dormant for now..." and "Huh, so my marksmanship remained even in this body..."
She has a state of almost berserker like rage, and is proven to be difficult to break out of, with Diaochan stating after such incidents that "she's calm now. Sorry about that."
While known for her dancing talents from her previous reputation, she is physically unable to perform, her body freezing up until she relents. She also cannot deliver statements that could be seen as flirtatious without her mouth physically sealing itself.

It’s such a shame that there isn’t a more recent tv adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms because I have a feeling that fujoshis will go feral over it (as they have over every adaptation) because you can find pretty much every archetypal king / advisor and king / general danmei couple type in this saga

hi guys im back to report on lostword writing about junko and doing GOOD AGAIN. RAHH
from what ive gathered of the newest jun, shes in a timeloop of her own doing trying to reunite herself with hecatia and clownpiece, who just dont seem to exist outside of the original universe she met them in. her purification and her hatred is Burning through her body like shes a fuse. (THIS IS SOMETHING IVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT CONCEPTUALLY FOR YEARS BTW) and the one constant shes had that has actually given her the time of day is udongein. junkos memories are being purified and forgotten due to her own madness, so udons ability relating to that has been useful in helping junko record her thoughts and memories. she states she could Not have come as far as she did without the help of the bunny
she makes some conclusions about the universe and her powers, and entrusts udongein with three key memories that she cant let be purified. the memories of her past self, her history, and of chang'e.
drops THIS banger BTW RAHHH I WON WITH THIS. I AM ALWAYS TALKIN ABOUT JUNKO UDON MOM DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP IM ALWAYS SAYING THIS. but junko plans to use the very last of her power to send udongein home. udon is begging her not to that there has to be another way. unfortunately no talking her out of this,
junko relinquishes her own name, sends her home and proceeds to fizzle out of existence.
Eirin creates some sort of device to sustain junko long enough before she really disappears just to thank her for getting udon home safely. they both say that theyll always remember her as their kind-hearted enemy.
and now the shit im REALLY HERE FOR. in her final moments, junko sees her memories of clownpiece and hecatia.
they are both happy to see her. they catch up, junko tries to say that shes dying but hecatia says not to worry about it, to just have fun with them.
Junko laughs.
They talk more, but junkos existence is fading. this is all pov from jun herself btw, you literally see her vision darkening and her eyes closing
THIS SHIT IS GOOD AS FUCK man. UUGHHH ITS GOT SO MANY OF THE STORY BEATS I LOVE TO THINK ABOUT WITH THIS CHARACTER so many of the things i personally do myself its FIRE
