I'm sorry for those who requested almost a week ago, I will finish them later on this week to next week since I am dealing with personal things such as trying to exchange into an in-person school!

ANON’S REQUEST: OMG YOU WRITE FOR HAYATO FROM SEASON 2??!!! give us anything 😭 please I beg 😭🙏 he is so mf fine and criminally underrated, we’re good w just a breadcrumb of content for him atp (it’s the lowkey same for Yamato too 💔) I don’t see Hayato being super into a really hyperfeminine super girly kawaii type of girl though tbf, I can totally see him being into the more mature feminine type if that makes sense??
💭 Rose's Note: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REQUESTING HAYATO!!! He’s such a cutie omg. Also, I’m sorry if I didn’t write how you wanted it to be because I didn’t know if you meant fashion or mentally? If that makes sense. Also, if you guys are wondering what happened to one of the friends from the group…don’t attack me but…I FORGOT HIS NAME, SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT HIS NAME WAS, AND I AM SO SORRY!!!
𝒜LL THE BOYS in the school have the same preference for girls. A girl who is shorter than them, dressed in all pink, wears revealing clothes, goes shopping, and is, of course, cute. But it’s quite the opposite for Hayato, surprisingly. What everyone doesn’t know about him is that he likes someone more mature – not just in her looks. Her personality.
Someone who isn’t ‘half-screwed’, he calls it. He likes a girl who, whenever she talks, is aware. A girl who doesn’t need to dress in pink to state that she’s girly. A girl who doesn’t have to pound her face full of make-up to impress boys. A girl who doesn’t gossip about others to make herself feel better. And of course, a girl with a caring heart – and that’s quite rare nowadays since every girl wants attention and to hook up – and that’s the opposite of what Hayto wants.
Of course, Hayto finds girls attractive whenever they pass by him and can’t keep his eyes off them, but he hasn’t found the one. So, he decided he won’t date until he finds the one.
AT SCHOOL: 8:46 A.M
It was a normal day at Kurogin High, with the boys doing their own things around the classroom. Meanwhile, Hayato was hanging out with his friends, discussing the topic of cute girls while he doodled in his journal, overhearing their conversation.
“I really want to see that one girl from the arcade. She looked so cute!” Takeda's eyes softened, as if he were daydreaming about her.
“Her friend is kind of hot.” Tscucchi leaned back in his chair while eating sour gummies. “These are kind of bitter.” He pulled back the gummy to examine it.
“Maybe it’s because you got the extra sour one,” Ryu remarked, making Tscucchi turn the bag to read the label.
“Oh, shut it!” Tscucchi moved his hand to threaten him but pulled himself back.
“Hayato, we rarely see you go crazy about a girl.” Takeda interrupted, tilting his head in curiosity. Hayato lifted his eyes from his notebook filled with fresh doodles.
“What do you mean?” Hayato says confusedly.
“We see you join in with us when we see girls, but we never actually heard about your preferences.” Hayato let out an awkward chuckle.
“I don’t have to share my business with you idiots.” Hayato went back to his notebook before sketching something.
“So, you’re hiding the fact that you have a preference.” Tsucchi pointed his fan at the boy. “What is it? Is it not a girl or something?” Hayato choked on his own air from Tsucchi’s words.
“No! I like girls, obviously! It’s certainly not the type of girl you guys like,” Hayato continued his sketching.
“Then what is your type?” Tsucchi leaned in towards the boy along with Takeda. Once Hayato looked up, his brows knitted.
“What are you guys doing? Move away.” Hayato closed his book before gesturing for them to leave. But instead of leaving, Tsucchi took Hayato’s notebook. “Give it back.” Hayato tried reaching for it, but the boy moved it back.
“We’re not leaving until you tell us,” Tsucchi teased.
“That’s stupid,” Hayato leaned across his table.
“Guess you won’t get it.” For a few moments, Hayato was silent before letting off a scoff.
“I’m not into super feminine girls like you guys. There, now give it back.” Tsucchi gave his book back in return. Once Hayato continued what he was doing, the boys looked at each other.
“What messed with Hayato?” Takeda says.
“You guys did.” Ryu interrupted. “But then again, is he hiding something?” The boys shrugged.
Tsucchi sighed. “I’m sure that Hayato already found a girlfriend without telling us.”
“If he were already dating someone, then he would be more distracted,” Takeda remarked, eyes drifting to Hayato, who was grabbing a marker.
“But also, what does he mean by he’s not into ‘super feminine’ girls?” Tsucchi scratched his head in curiosity. “Like, girly?”
“He means that he’s not into the girls that you see pass by us.” Ryu corrected, making the boy's eyes follow Ryu. “What he means is that he’s into,” Ryu leaned back into his chair. “Mature girls.”
Tuscchi and Takeda's heads lifted to the ceiling, thinking about Ryu’s response.
“That’s not a bad preference. It’s hot though.” The corner of Tsucchi’s lips quirked into a smile as he pictured Hayato’s preference.
“Why don’t we ask him specifically why he’s not into ‘super feminine’ girls?” Takeda crossed his arms on his desk.
“Would he actually tell us, though? He was pretty weird about it when we asked him.” The tip of Tsucchi’s fan tapped his chin.
“What would you guys even do once you get a response?” Ryu crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for a response.
“Like a good friend that we are, we could help search for his ideal type. Somewhere.” Tsucchi’s brows knitted while looking down at the ground. The corner of Ryu’s lip curved, chuckling to himself.
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
Once Yankumi left the classroom, Tsucchi and Takeda leaned in close to Hayato, who slowly turned his head.
“What do you want?” Hayato scanned them in suspicion. The boys gave each other a look before one of them spoke up.
“Okay, so…remember how we talked about preferences?” Hayato rolled his eyes at the boys before sighing.
“I already gave you an answer. What else do you want?” Hayato leaned back in his chair, arms crossed against his chest.
“It’s just this question, and we won’t ask again.” Hayato waited for Takeda to continue. Before Taekda could speak up, Tsucchi interrupted him.
“What exactly do you mean by not being interested in ‘super feminine’ girls?” Tsucchi leaned in, fingers interlocking with each other while waiting for a response.
“I’m not into childish girls. They always gossip with each other and want attention. I like a mature girl.” Hayato’s eyes drifted to the other side of the room, his chest leaning over his own arms. “I want a girl who doesn’t need to do much for boys to fall for her.”
Ryu’s eyes drifted to the boys, eavesdropping on their conversation. He was surprised himself that Hayato told them how he felt.
The boys fell silent, as the only sounds were from the ruthless kids, while thinking about the boy’s answer.
“That sounds impossible-” Before Tsucchi could finish his sentence, Takeda’s hand immediately reached for the boy’s mouth.
“We will help you find her!” Takeda interrupts, catching the boys’ attention.
Hayato scoffed before turning his head. “That kind of girl doesn’t exist where we live.”
“I’m sure she does! We just…” Tsucchi's head turned to the side, looking around before facing them. “Haven’t approached her before.”
Hayato sighed before throwing his head back. “This is stupid.” He mumbled.
“What about we go out to karaoke to see if there are any girls there, and from there, we can search?”
“I don’t want you guys to do anything for me. I can handle it myself.” The boy stood up and left the classroom, leaving the boys looking at each other in confusion.
“We've got to convince him somehow,” Takeda says. As Takeda was lost in thought, Tsucchi’s eyes lit up with an idea.
“I got an idea!” Tsucchi tapped the end of his fan on his table, catching Takeda’s attention. “Come here.” Tsucchi grabbed the boy’s jacket, pulling him closer to whisper something into his ear.
Ryu’s eyes landed back on his own table. “This will not end well.”
AFTER SCHOOL: AT KARAOKE – 5:56 P.M
The boys’ chattering followed into the building; the staff rolled their eyes in annoyance. The boys eventually brought everyone, including Ryu, to the karaoke building they usually go to, which was enough for Hayato to tag along.
The man across the table removed the cigarette from his mouth, puffing the smoke. “Keep it down, will ya?”
Tsucchi clenched his teeth before stepping in front of the man from the other side of the table. “You got a problem with us or something?” The boy pulled out his fan to cool himself down. The man, on the other hand, leaned in closer until their heads bumped.
Hayato let out an exasperated sigh before inserting his hand between the aggressive men. “Can we get a room?”
“Hell no! Your boy is trying to start something he can’t finish.” The man’s brows knitted in anger.
“You guys can share a room with us!” A high-pitched voice spoke up, drawing their attention to it. The voice belonged to a girl around their age, as four other girls tagged along. The girl had long, brown hair in two high pigtails, wearing pink accessories to go with her uniform. Definitely the boys’ type, as if girls in general aren’t their type.
“No. They were literally arguing with Mr. Tanaka.” Another girl spoke up, catching Hayato’s attention. He could tell from the girl’s expression that she wasn’t all that interested in whatever her friend got her into.
“Come on! We have a large room, and it will fit all of us!” One of the other girls wrapped their arm around her, making the rest of the girls beg along. “Plus they are so cute!” The girl’s comment pinched a smirk on the boys’ cheeks.
“Don’t get cocky now!” The girl spat, which made the boys step back from her ‘scary’ attitude.
The girl’s eyes landed on the boys before she sighed in defeat, yanking her arm away from her friend. “Fine.” The girl crossed her arms as the girls cheered at her defeat.
“Okay now! Whatever! You guys got everything covered – now you’re paying me extra.” The man pointed his cigarette towards the girls.
“Mr. Tanaka, it will still be the same price since it can fit all of us. So, technically, you are scamming us.” The other girl raised a brow while crossing her arms.
“Fine, you got me, [𖦹₊ ⊹]. Get going now!” The man gestured with the same hand with the cigarette for them to leave.
Everyone followed the girls’ tracks to the large, open room, in which they settled in. As the boys sat by the girls with lovey-dovey eyes, Hayato, on the other hand, sat beside the girl who disagreed with tagging along with the boys.
An hour passed, and everyone swayed to the rhythm of the music while singing into the microphones. Hayato’s eyes flickered to the girl beside him, who was on her phone. He noticed that she looked uninterested rather than enjoying the moment, just like him.
“Why aren’t you going with them?” Hayato spoke up, causing the girl to lift her head from her phone.
“I didn’t really want to come, but they begged me to join. I mostly come here for their food, though.” Hayato chuckled at her response.
“Really? That’s all?”
“Yeah,” The girl nodded. “That’s about it. Why aren’t you joining?” The girl fired the same question at him.
“I wanted it to just be us, but apparently it’s better than being just the five of us.” The boy fidgeted with the ring on his finger, making her nod. “Your name is [𖦹₊ ⊹], right?”
“Yeah. What about you?” The girl leaned against the cushion while holding one of the pillows.
“Hayato.” He says simply, and she nods again before letting out a small hum.
“What school do you go to?” You quizzed him.
“Kurogin.”
“The all-boys school known for its bad students in one of their classes?” You tilted your head.
“Yeah,” Hayato answered before looking around. To break the awkwardness he was feeling, the boy cleared his throat. “What about you?”
“[School Name]. Actually, our schools aren’t that far from each other now, thinking about it.” The boy chuckled a little.
Hayato nodded. “Yeah.”
As Hayato curiously scanned your figure from head to toe, he was intrigued and wanted to learn more about you. He was genuinely curious about you. Out of all the girls in the room, he realized that your style was simpler than the others, but you acted more serious, as if you were their parent – which is kind of a mood killer to him. You didn’t need to wear short skirts to reveal skin because you were beautiful, and you knew it. He admired the way your eyes softened, eyes following everyone’s movements. He noticed the way you straightened your posture before brushing some of your hair behind your ear. Hayato licked his bottom lip as he stared at you. After a few seconds, he looked away with guilt since he had just met you.
“Hey, why don’t you two sing something?” One of your friends interrupted your guys’ train of thought before throwing her microphone to you, making you catch it instantly.
“No,” you shook your head. “I don’t want to-” Before you could protest, one of your other friends wrapped their arm around yours, pulling you up from your seat. “No!”
“C’mon, Hayato!” Takeda tugged Hayato’s jacket.
“No, why can’t I do it with one of you guys-”
“You have a problem with me or something?” Your arms crossed, waiting for a response.
“No, it’s not that-”
“I’ll pick a song for you too!” Your friend says, making you open your mouth to say what was on your mind, but was interrupted by the machine going off, signalling that a song was chosen. You groaned before flicking your attention to the boy in front of you.
“You ready?” Hayato twirled the microphone between his fingers.
You let out a sigh. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
As the song began, Hayato turned to read the lyrics while singing before his eyes traveled to you, waiting for your turn. Once it was your turn, you took the lead and nodded your head to the rhythm of the music. Throughout the past 3 minutes, it was filled with fun! Your voices were horrendous on the high note, but that’s what made it interesting. You didn’t think it would be fun with those boys tagging along, even though you weren't even walking out of the room, because everything that happened in that room was amazing.
AFTER KAROKE – 8:43 P.M
The girls surrounded the boys in awe, wrapping their arms around them while giggling. The boys were in heaven with the girls around them.
“Can we get your guys’ numbers?” The brown-haired girl says, snuggling her head into Tsucchi’s neck. The boy’s cheeks warmed from the girl's actions.
“Yeah!” Takeda raised his hand excitedly. The girls gasped, taking out their cell phones before exchanging their numbers. Meanwhile, you and Hayato stayed behind, synchronizing your sighs. You two paused, turning your heads to look at each other, confusedly.
“You're done with them as well?” Hayato says, brow raising a bit as he places his hands in his pockets.
“Yeah. I’m tired.” Your mouth opened, letting out a yawn before your hand found its way to cover your mouth.
The boy chuckled. “But you barely did anything.”
“I did so! I stayed with them throughout the whole thing without stepping out.” You scoffed.
“Did you at least have fun?” Hayato turned to face you, stopping your tracks. The corner of your lips tugged into a smile.
“Maybe.” You walked ahead of him, making him shake his head playfully before following along. Ryu, on the other hand, watched the whole thing but kept it to himself. Just maybe Hayato found the one.
Okay, so quick question about my writings. Should I continue to use "[Your Name] or a symbol inside the brackets? Because I really don't wanna use y/n 😭😭😭
OKI I WILL DO THIS HEHEHHE. I have to fix up some of the fic later cause I gotta do some personal things today so maybe around like 3-5pm (my timezone) might be posted!
Okay, I finished Nobuta wo Produce and dude that show made feel different IN A GOOD WAY. It ended off with a bittersweet ending, which I felt a little sad about, but at least the characters got their own happy ending. It felt real in a way, showing how some schools are and it's a little bit more realistic then some shows, but of course there was a lot of fictional themes in it. I love the youthful, nostalgic feeling while watching it.
So, if you guys love youthful shows talking about friendship, that's the best show to watch! It's not exactly a romance because the main character didn't end up with the other main leads, so its considered just a slice of life, coming of age show.
A small update on my next fic is a request that might be posted on Monday or Tuesday because I am finishing writing it today! I am waiting to see the results on the poll tomorrow so I can fix or change reader's name! But the next fic I think I enjoy the writing for it!
Okay, so quick question about my writings. Should I continue to use "[Your Name] or a symbol inside the brackets? Because I really don't wanna use y/n 😭😭😭
Since I'm getting more requests, please know that I can claim up to 5 slots for requests! So far I got 2 and it will take me about a week or more to do!
I wanna change my theme but idk how to really do it cutesy with the colors and banners. I always wanted to add banners on both of my blogs but they always look buns to me 😭😭😭

𝓘T WAS MIDNIGHT, and you were sitting in your room, studying for an upcoming exam, when you were interrupted by your ringtone. You paused your movements, your eyes drifting to your phone in annoyance before flipping it open and answering.
“Hello?” You answered. It was silent for a few seconds before a familiar voice broke the silence.
“ [Your name]. It’s about Shin.” It was Shin’s homeroom teacher, Ms. Yamaguchi. There was only one reason why she was calling at a very late hour. Shin most likely got into a fight. That’s ninety-nine percent of the reason why she’s calling about him.
You readjusted the phone against your ear. “What happened with him?”
“Shin’s at the police station. A fight broke out at a club, and he was involved.” Your eyes widened at her words.
“I’ll be on my way.” Before Yankumi could say anything else, you hung up, hurried, and slid into your shoes before grabbing your bag and leaving the house.
AT THE POLICE STATION – 12:45 A.M
Once you made it to the police station, the sounds of your footsteps approaching the front desk echoed through the waiting room.
“How may I help you?” The man at the front desk inquired.
“My friend, Sawada Shin, has been arrested here, and I need to see him!” You rested your hands on the counter anxiously.
“He isn’t able to have visitors at the moment, ma’am. You will have to wait until the morning.” Your fingers curled into a fist on the counter, but before you could say what was on your mind, a familiar voice interrupted.
“What time?” Your eyes drifted to the voice. It was his teacher, Yankumi, along with his friends beside him.
“At twelve, you’re able to see him.” The officer answered, placing some files into his drawer. Your hand curled into a fist in anger, but Yankumi lowered your hand before you could do anything.
“Alright.” You could tell from her face that she really wanted to do something, but she couldn’t. She didn’t have the power to control what the officer did because, at the end of the day, she’s only a teacher.
“We have to help him!” One of the boys says.
“We can’t. Not now. We have to wait till tomorrow.” Yankumi’s jaw clenched as she was disappointed with her response, even though it was the truth. “You boys get home, including you, [Your Name].”
“But I have to see him. I have to see Shin. He needs comfort and-” You could feel your voice breaking in between your words, which Yankumi began to rub your back reassuringly.
“I have to see Shin.” Your voice was barely a whisper. “Can’t I just stay overnight?”
“No, you have to worry about school. You don’t want to upset them for your absences.”
“But he needs-”
“[Your Name],” Yankumi pulled you back to face you. “We will be able to talk with him tomorrow during your lunch period. I will call you to let you know when they can let us in, okay?” You nodded slowly. “For now, please get home and get some rest.”
Your eyes traveled to the front door, knowing that one of the officers is possibly talking to him on the other side. You didn’t even know the full reason why he ended up in the situation that he's in since you hung up on Yankumi before she could fully explain it to you. But you let out a shaky sigh.
“Fine. I will see you tomorrow, Ms. Yamagunchi.” You gave a faint smile before it faded once you walked away.
LATER ON THAT DAY: 12:14 P.M
Your footsteps became heavier as you walked down the hallway. You didn’t know how to feel because you knew being friends with Shin would come with a few things to accept, and most of them led to him being a delinquent. But something you learned about Shin is that he isn’t every type of delinquent you see in your school or on TV. He actually cares for the people around him, which you realized was influenced by Yankumi’s lectures.
Once you approached the room, an officer closed it behind you, welcoming you into an empty area beside a table and some chairs across from another, where you sat at the other side of it.
After a few moments, an officer entered the room before sitting across from you. “Are you close with Shin?” The man quizzed, and you nodded.
“Yes, he’s my close friend.” You answered honestly. “When will he be able to leave?”
“He will be held here until a legal guardian bails him out.” You pressed your lips into a thin line in distress. “It won’t be for long, though, unless we get any more updates from the incident that can cause him to stay. But besides this, he will have to worry about what punishment his school will give him.”
“Will he be suspended?” You questioned.
“Like how I said, the school will decide, but most likely he will be expelled.”
“What?!” You blinked in disbelief.
“He’s arrested for a misdemeanor, which is very serious for his school record. He broke into a fight at a club he’s not even supposed to be at. Luckily, none of them got into any serious injuries besides the cuts and bruises.”
Before you could say anything, the door opened, revealing Shin beside one of the other officers.
You stood up from your seat. “Shin!” Shin’s eyes slowly met yours before looking back at the ground.
“I will leave you two alone.” The officer stood up before leaving the room and shutting the door.
“Shin…” You paused, eyes softening worryingly. Shin, whose eyes were on the ground, lifted to face you; his face was painted with seriousness and a hint of anger. Not at you, but for the reasoning he ended up in the position he’s in. “From what I heard from Yankumi, you visited a bar and got into a fight.”
“I’m not guilty of what I did.” Your mouth parted to find the right words to say.
“Shin, I’m worried. About this – you. Especially what’s going on with you. Ever since we walked home the other day, you have avoided me.” You leaned in a bit closer, but enough to give him space. “You won’t tell me-”
Shin slammed his hand on the table, brows furrowed in anger. “I don’t have to tell you everything that’s happening with me, [Your Name]. You’re not my mother.” The tone of his voice was darker than you had ever heard from him.
“But I care about you, Shin, and you’re being selfish. I know I am not your mother, and it’s not the right time to give you lectures and things like that, but please open up to me, Shin.” Your eyes drifted down to his hand, which was curled into a fist as if he were pulling himself back. Once he realized what you were staring at, he immediately released his tight grip.
“I’m sorry. Just–” Before he could finish his sentence, the door immediately opened as it caught your attention, revealing his teacher, Ms. Yamagunchi. Your eyes drifted back to the boy before letting out a sigh.
“I will let you guys talk.” You stood up from the chair.
“You guys can finish-” You interrupted her before she could finish her sentence.
“No, it’s alright. I have to get back to school before my lunch break ends.” You made your way to the door, closing it from behind as you stepped inside. Shin was left there, alone, which almost feels like it. His lips were parted before he immediately closed them.
“What happened between you two?” Yankumi says, eyes landing on the door, then back at him.
“I’m dealing with things.” That was all Shin could respond, and Yankumi frowned worryingly.
A FEW DAYS LATER – 9:45 P.M
The house was empty, leaving you alone since your parents were on a business trip. You were left alone, overthinking everything that’s happening. You’re worried about what will happen with Shin’s future, his sister, his friends, and your relationship. You know that it won’t be the end of the world, but it can definitely ruin Shin’s future. But the sounds of knocking from the window interrupted your train of thought.
You got up from your chair, went to the window, and lifted it. Your eyes widen once you figure out what it was. Your boyfriend, Shin, was sitting in front of the window. “What are you doing here, Shin?! Aren’t you supposed to be in jail-”
“I got bailed out.” Shin answers simply.
“How?” Before you could say something else, it came back to you. There was only one solution to this. His father bailed him out. Shin watched as you became quiet and assumed that you already knew. “I mean – that’s good. Really good.” You reached out to him and wrapped your arms around him, nuzzling your head into his neck. “I’m just glad that you’re doing well.”
Shin’s arms slowly wrapped around you as if it were his first time being hugged. He rested his chin on your shoulder, taking in your scent. He really missed you when he was at the police station. He had his sister, his friends, and you in his mind. After a few moments, both of you backed away, and Shin sat down on the floor beside your mattress.
You sat beside Shin, who held his knees to his chest with his face down. You hesitantly reached your hand to his back, making sure he accepted your comfort, and he leaned into your touch. You started rubbing soothing circles on his back, and the boy’s head lifted to meet yours.
“I’m sorry, [Your Name]. I’m sorry for how I treated you back at the police station. I understand that you were trying to comfort me, but instead of taking it, I just–” Before he could finish, you pressed a kiss on his temple, leaving him dumfounded by your sudden actions.
“I understand. I shouldn’t have pressured you to tell me. But in the future, please tell me about anything that's worrying you, even if it includes family.” Shin blinked slowly before nodding.
“But still. I hurt you, and I didn’t mean any of it.” Shin let out a sigh. “I will explain it to you.” You nodded slowly, waiting for him to continue. “You know that I live alone because of family, but there’s more to it. When I was living with them, it felt like I was being imprisoned. My dad never cared about me or my sister’s point of view; he only cared about what others thought of him, and my mother had no choice but to listen to him since he’s the man of the house. So, after an argument I got into with him, I left home, leaving my sister to them. And I’m used to it. I’m used to being alone, but when Natsumi called me,” Shin paused for a moment. “I had to save her because if I didn’t, it would have been my fault that she left. She wanted to follow what I did, but she doesn’t know how it feels to be alone like me since she’s used to living with other people.”
You two let the silence fall between you two. You felt bad for what Shin and his sister had to deal with growing up, especially his sister being alone in that house with him. Now you understand him more. Your eyes dropped to your carpet before looking at Shin, who was staring at the wall with his train of thought. You reached a hand to his back and rubbed it.
“I’m sorry that you had to go through that.” You say. “No child should abandon their home even when things go rough. Parents should support their children and not care about what others think. A parent's child is supposed to be their treasure.”
Once Shin’s eyes locked with yours, you two held eye contact with softened. Neither of you wanted to break the contact; instead, the moment brought you both to lean into each other slowly. Shin’s eyes drifted down to your lips, then back at your eyes. You were inches away from each other until your lips finally brushed against one another. You closed your eyes as you two shared a passionate kiss filled with sincerity and love. You could feel your stomach turn as if you dropped from a high roller coaster, but in an amazing, beautiful way.
Shin cupped your cheek deliberately, thumb brushing your skin as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Neither of you wanted to let go, feeling his free hand travel to your waist to pull you closer to him.
Once you two pulled away, your chest was rising rapidly as you were trying to catch your breath. “Did I – did I do well? I was awkward or anything or–” Shin rolled his eyes before placing his hand on your head and ruffling your hair.
“Idiot. If you were awkward, I would have corrected you.” Your fingers fidgeted with one another before letting out an awkward laugh. You felt your cheeks warm, leaving him to chuckle at your reaction.
“I have something for you,” Shin said again, catching your attention with curiosity. You watched as Shin brought out a silver string from his pocket. It was a necklace with a heart pendant in the middle. You were flabbergasted; your mouth dropped in awe. “It’s nothing too big. I saw it at a store and thought you would like something like this.”
“What do you mean, 'it’s nothing too big '?” This is so – this is so sweet.” You felt your eyes form with tears.
Shin unclipped the necklace before moving it toward you, signalling to you if it was okay to put it on you, and you moved your head down for him to clip it. He used the back of his hands to move your hair out of the way before clipping it on you, and moved back. You took a moment for yourself to admire the gift. It was too perfect and gorgeous.
“What do you think of it?” The boy questions, watching how you were admiring the necklace.
“It’s beautiful.” Your eyes met his as you beamed a smile. He mirrored your smile, and it was the first time you saw him shining with a smile. “WAIT! Does that mean we’re-” You gestured your finger, pointing at yourself, then at him.
“If you want to. I’m not going to force you.” You couldn’t fight back the grin that was spreading across your face. You leaned in and kissed him on the cheek before leaning back.
There is still more to know about him, but you’re not going to force him to say it now. You hope that someday though, he’ll trust you as much as you trust him. But for now, you wish that the lingering moments of eye contact, warm embraces, soft touches, and after school hangouts to never disappear.
I'm really sorry if it sounds buns. I was trying to just send it out 💔 Hopefully my next work is a lot more better than this. Also my requests are still open if you want me to write for anyone from other seasons!
