People often ask about my favourite openings, but I am surprised that anyone would expect a candid response. I usually spout the normal nonsense about Fried Livers, Berlin Walls or Sicilian Dragons, but in truth my 'favourite opening line' is merely whatever is most likely to discomfit my next opponent the most.

I think Magnus will win if he can survive the next two games, where Vishy has white in both.  Beware the wounded tiger!   Vishy has been a great champion, but 'King Magnus' would re-energize the chess world, especially in the West.
