Many thanks to my team, who backed me up and without whom this project would not exist. You guys are the real heroes
This is my family. I miss them. This isn’t all of them. I’ve just recently taken photos of them.
During this time of unknown crisis, everyone is quarantined to their quarters, the space that they’ve decided to decorate and give personality to. It leaves many people to reflect while the future is uncertain.
I am currently actively unemployed for the first time in my career. Man, I can finally finish the storymode on my MK11. It’s scary as shit, trying to figure out the path to take through a pandemic that’s placed itself inbetween a financial crisis and a political warzone.
To be honest, it terrifies me and excites me at the same time. I am curious to see how far the world will crumble under this virus. There are many games being played behind the guise of a global health catastrophe, and all signs point to the first global modern revolt. Its okay though, it won’t really happen, will it? I have a feeling that the worst in my mind can’t come to reality, yet it’s been brewing for a while. I can’t place an exact start to it, as it’s always an ebb and flow of motions that shimmy things in place. I don’t follow the happenings of the world too closely to investigate a hard beginning. Someone in the back is going to scream “Illuminati!”, and they might not be half wrong.
In the mean time, I’ll just start reading books again, as I’m years overdue. I feel like I’ll teach myself programming again to create value in a digital world. The cyberpunk future is coming and it’s more terrifying than you can imagine.
I was looking at some old photos today, when I was sent a photo of me and some friends on the last day of 2019. I remember discussing a Chinese pneumonia with someone there, how it had the potential to destroy the world. I fucking knew it, and didn’t begin to prepare then. How bad could it eventually get? I’ve played Pandemic and know the name of the game. Live in droplets. Spread on every surface. Just as we get close to an antidote or vaccine, we find signs of mutation in the virus, rendering current research somewhat obstructed and the necessary result pushed further out of our grasp into the future.
In the mean time, stay sane, my friends, colleagues, wanderers. Or don’t, just be safe and don’t hurt one another. We’ll need eachother when this is all over.

Shooing again with Director-Producer Özlem Altingöz, I feel we are making progress. I’m excited for our next shoot together. This subject is just about to break out.
