(post this is an ask for) something your art has been compared to that you where not inspired by: I get a lot of "this looks like a childrens story book" comments on my art wich is not the vibe I'm going for but I think it's kind of neat, very funny that I've gotten it on fanart for horror games the most, I also do not think my style matches that of any of the childrens books I grew up with. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate: Music! I don't make it myself (though I used to play saxophone for 9 years untill 2020) but I have so much respect for people who make music. I find it especially people who make music that creates a certain vibe for where the song takes place without using the actual sounds of said place? like making something that feels like a rowdy sea without using ocean noises. I honestly do not listen to music as much anymore probably depression related. But I always love analysing the different pieces of a song when I really sit down for it. I also really admire people who do any kind of sewing, like sure I sew a bit for my plushies but having to make an actual fabric pattern for it looks so much more difficult, and when it comes to clothing it's even more impressive to me.

Here you go! sorry for the long wait. this one was pretty challenging, not huge fan of red and green contrast myself. Now that I'm done with it maybe I should've used blue as the highlight colour on the body. but oh well. I hope you still like it!

You're not alone in that haha, 2 other people asked for this exact same character and colour combination. He was way more fun to draw than I expected at first tbh. anyway hope you enjoy your camera spider, I tried to make him look kind of creepy I think that's a fun vibe for him.

I think memorial in static would be cool

Memorial is one of my favorite characters in the game so I'm really happy someone requested them! I challenged myself quite a bit with this one, with the pose and trying to use the really bright blue as the shadow colour. I hope it turned out nice.

My beloved thing. this palette was quite difficult to work with but I think it still came out quite nice. I was kind of worried that the pinks wouldn't be dark enough to be used as shading. I should draw this creature more.

Remember kids do not set you palette to grayscale to check the contrast values because it won't always read like that in colour. According to the grayscale that bright blue was the darkest colour, but that's not how it reads to anyones eyes.

Edit: goddamnit, it does look dark on mobile....

no chance i could ask for a Spine in Finally Home, is there? i think it's got some good colours for her

You know I was hoping so badly for someone to ask for this exact combination. I've wanted to draw spine for a while and it fits her so well! like the reds of course fit her and then the name? really happy with how it came out the reds being more similar in lightness gives it a really dreamlike feeling. I kind of struggled with coming up with how to draw her because I wanted her to be in a more interesting pose than just redrawing her sprite.
