A bittersweet taste on the pale shadow's lips, tears in the eyes of her companion. Never together, never apart. A curse and a blessing. It hurts. You're strong. It hurts. Don't be scared. Were you scared? Every step of the way. Did it hurt? Maybe. Did you forget? I did not, you did. Did I? You did, and that's alright. I miss you. No you don't, and that's alright, too. No I don't miss you, I miss something else. You will find it, it's not here. It's not, I see. The water is clear, the sky is endless and the setting sun paints their smiles a golden shade of blood red.

Just finished Three Dark Crowns and moved on to Amberlough and The Diviners. I thoroughly enjoyed Three Dark Crowns and rated it 3.75/5.
