The Now

As I prepare the day and the week I reflect back to the events of this month through my challenges and my successes. I remind myself that we are given the challenges to allow ourselves to grow and to learn what is most important to us. For me family is important and to provide with family I must do my best to find work. My career is not a typical 9-5 job and it’s not secure so I find ways to bring in an income while working through the steps of becoming a successful actor today. This month I’ve gone on 3 auditions, was cast in a play and have an interview with a Talent agency. These are milestones towards a successful career for me however I have challenges in life that slow my steps down but I work hard to not allow those baby steps to take to a place of giving up. I encourage all artists who are facing challenges whether it be health finances or something else to remain strong. Turn your mind trash or negative thoughts into positive ones and tell yourself “my art is my passion, my purpose, and is me and I must live truthfully to myself because that is when where and how I will be successful. Take each moment with a deep breath and a reflection of where you were where you are now. Just now.
