i have gotten some ~feedback~ on my recent myungbin drabble & i gotta be honest, i’ve had warmer receptions to things.
part of a nutritious breakfast

Myungjun shrugs on his threadbare robe out of habit more than anything else. He slips into his beaten up bunny slippers that he probably should have chucked years ago. He can never bring himself to do it; he’ll hold the disgusting things over the trash, but then he gets all sentimental. The slippers are one of the first presents that Moon Bin ever gave him.
The heels of the slippers slap against the hardwood floor during his slow progression to the kitchen.
Bin is already at the table, reading something on his phone. Myungjun smiles and walks over wrapping his arms around Bin’s shoulders from behind and resting his chin on the crown of Bin’s head. “You could have woken me up.”
Bin escapes from under Myungjun’s chin and kisses his jaw, “No, no, no, you need your beauty sleep.”
Myungjun pulls away and frowns, “I don’t know if that’s an insult or a compliment.”
“God, you’re such a butt, Moon Bin,” Myungjun mumbles under his breath. He opens a cabinet and pulls out a bowl. He plops down into the chair next to Bin and leans his cheek against Bin’s shoulder.
“You okay?” Bin asks, sweeping Myungjun’s hair off of his forehead in concern.
“I like waking up next to you better than waking up alone and finding that you’ve already eaten breakfast,” he whines.
Bin laughs softly, “Pouty baby.” He picks up the box of cereal in front of him and hands it to Myungjun, “Enjoy the delicacy that is Cocoa Puffs.”
Myungjun sits up and gives Bin a disapproving look, “You couldn’t have made a real breakfast?”
“I don’t see you whipping out a skillet.”
“Fair,” Myungjun says and starts to shake out some of the chocolatey cereal. He stops when something silver tumbles out of the box and clinks against the porcelain bowl.
Myungjun fishes it out and stares at a ring. A nice ring. An expensive looking ring. He’ll say it– an engagement ring.
He looks at Bin and sees an expectant expression.
“You’re a dork,” Myungjun breathes.
“But am I dork you want to marry?”
okie look, it had to be cocoa puffs. sorry.
i love you, please love me back.
