“Oh look at our little boy”, Iker smiled brightly as Alvaro walked downstairs in his new clothes carrying his back bag with him proudly. “Our little student.”
“He will so be the teacher’s pet”, Sergio kissed Iker’s cheek before moving to hug Alvaro. “Are you excited?”
“Super excited!” Alvaro clapped his hands and let his dad’s hug him. “I want to learn how to read and count!”
While Iker and Sergio were focused on their oldest kid little Isco was slowly opening Alvaro’s bag he had put down to the floor. He knew he would fit there. Isco put Isco’s stuff out and sat to the bag trying to close it after him. He wanted school too. Alvaro had been talking about going to school for weeks and it sounded really good for the little boy. Isco wanted too.
“Alvaro your bag is moving”, Iker smiled and walked over to the bag. “Isco.”
“I’m not here”, Isco’s little voice came from the bag as Iker opened it smiling.
“Do you want school that badly?” Iker smiled as he lifted the little boy to his arms. “You have to wait couple more years.”
“But I want to go with Alvie”, Isco groaned.
“You’re too small”, Iker put Isco to his place on the table. “Now come on and eat your breakfast.”
Isco held Alvaro’s hand tightly the whole way to the school. He didn’t want to let go and be alone. He walked to the school yard holding Alvaro’s hand still. Some people looked to them, but even Isco didn’t feel nervous about it now. He was only looking to Alvaro and wondering if he still could somehow get to the class with him.
“Isco I have to go now”, Alvaro tried to pull his hand free as the school bell rang. “I’ll play with you the whole evening when I get from school.”
Isco let go off Alvaro’s hand sadly and Alvaro hugged his parents one last time before he left walking to the where his new teacher was. Isco stood next to Iker looking Alvaro go. Isco looked to his daddies quickly before he left running after Isco the fastest he could.
“Isco!” Sergio groaned and left running after him Iker staying where he was just sighing.
Alvaro ran to hug Isco and almost tackled him to the ground. Alvaro smiled a bit and hugged Isco again before Sergio got Isco up to his arms. Isco started screaming that he wanted to school with Alvaro but Sergio just carried him to the car and put him inside. Iker promised Alvaro Isco would be okay.
After two bowls of ice cream and playing with Alvaro’s toys Isco was surely was okay.
