Ever since I shaved my head I have been on the receiving end or some annoying and unsolicited opinions. I previously had a pixie cut and had to deal with annoying comments like “I don’t usually like short hair on girls but it looks good on you”.. the worst kind of compliment.

Since I shaved my head I can’t count the number of men who have told me “your shaved head is cute but I preferred your pixie”. WHY? Why do men in my workplace, in my personal life, and just on general feel the need to weigh in on my appearance?

My body is not about you. Please go away.
