corvusoliver.
Oliver perched at the edge of the rooftop, peering down at the city below with his crow companion perched on his shoulder. So this was Star City… somewhere the people who killed him and his family were hiding. Oliver would find them soon enough, and then he’d be done here. He’d get to go back home and crawl back into his grave and see Rita and their unborn child again. Soon. Now, however, the sound of footsteps behind him made Oliver tense. He turned slowly, keeping his movements casual. Surely the combination of that, his all black ensemble, and his painted white and black face would scare them off. He flashed an almost manic grin. “Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to sneak up on people on rooftops? Someone could fall if you keep that up.”
anyone else would have been spooked by the strange man sulking on the roof, but laura viewed him only as an annoyance. the iron in his sentiment would have made her laugh if she had any sense of humor. her mother was restricted to teach her and laura wasn’t a stranger to rooftops; especially when it came with assassinating someone important. but laura had a skewed view of humor and instead, rosa a brow. “ this roof has been occupied by me for the last couple of months, ” laura said as she crossed her arms to hide the fists that her hands made.
