Book 10 of 2021: An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon. . Despite my problems with the narrative structure - which I found a bit jumpy and disjointed at times and I personally tend to struggle with those - this was a great debut. I also struggled a bit with the plot because it was a bit all over the place, which I assume was intentional on the authorâs part to keep the reader on their toes. The world building though is incredible and the exploration of slavery, colourism, gender identity and queerness is phenomenal. I wish Solomon publishes a sequel in the future. And by the way, they have a new book coming out later this year and I am so excited! https://www.instagram.com/p/CLt4W6GA1K0hUZrWxr7s9nViwDkBdD_eDvIa1U0/?igshid=1k3s0z1vssp47
