As soon as you walked into the class, you knew you weren't going to last the entire hour. Your head was pounding, mouth parched, and the room was stuffier than usual. As you went to blow your nose, a wave of dizziness hit you, and suddenly you were feeling even worse, and class hadn't even started yet."Okay, class. Today, we're going to be discussing sedimentary rock patterns. Can anyone name an example?"Normally you could, but as your head continued to weigh you down with a mental fog, the answer just disappeared from your mind."Correct! Now why do they form in these areas?" he asked, pointing around various areas of the board. You blinked, trying to articulate a sentence. Sedimentary rock patterns form... because... "Yes! Now, (Y/N), because you've been oddly quiet, do you know what causes the rock layers to form?""Uh..." You couldn't do much better than that. This class was burning you up even more, and as you took a deep breath, your vision wavered yet again and your TC looked concerned."Actually, it's a good idea if you all can explore that deeper! Get onto your laptops, take a look into different layers and their formation, and we'll discuss in ten minutes!" he called, before immediately rushing over to you. "Is everything okay?" he asked, eyes caring as he rested a hand gently on your shoulder. Slowly, you shook your head as a wave of dizziness hit again, before he gently eased you out of your seat."I'll take you to the school nurse. You can't stay in class in this state, especially if you're not feeling well. No buts," your TC said sternly, and as his hand found its way to your forehead, he grimaced."You've got a fever, h-""It's just a warm classroom!" you tried protesting weakly as he took your unopened bag, and your TC shook his head. "The entire class is cold and shivering. Winter typically doesn't feel like that on anyone's forehead," your TC retorted, and you let out a weak laugh."Guess you got me there. I'm just sick of rock patterns maybe," you said, trying to nudge him as you left the class. However, you felt a little unsteady on your feet, and so your TC took your arm and put it around his shoulders, before his went under yours to steady you."With the way you're acting, anyone would think I'm on my deathbed already," you muttered."I just want to make sure you're going to be okay. That's not such a crime now, is it?""I don't know, (TC/N). Maybe it should be if you're going to jeopardise my education. I could be learning about geological factors!"Your TC snorted, as he eased you through the office and onto a chair."You'd more likely be like a dormant volcano.""That was a horrible joke," you said weakly, as your TC went to the front desk. He told them that you were sick and that you needed to be taken home, and then he started guiding you to the nurse."She's going to give me a lollipop. That's the cure for everything at this school. It'd be more effective feeding me grass," you said.Your TC stayed silent, instead taking the time to place your bag carefully on the floor before helping you lie on the supplied bed."I'm off now, since I have a class to teach. Hope you get better soon though," your TC said softly."Thanks for bringing me here, (TC/N). Now go teach a rocking lesson," you muttered, and you felt your hand go in his."Anytime you need it, I promise. Just glad you'll get rest." He gave your hand a gentle squeeze, and left his there a second too long before rushing off, glancing back one last time to smile at you there, feeling better than ever because of him.
