Austin laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close to him as he let his eyes rest on the back of her head. His hands brushed against the material of her dress, not sure what to say.

Addison moved her body close to his as they began to cuddle and she let a content sigh escape her lips, feeling a large weight being lifted off of her shoulder. Even though they weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend, this is what she wanted from him and she was going to work with the baby steps they were going to take. She moved her head so that her ear could be pressed against his chest and her fingers played with the material of his soft shirt. She was happy, she felt calm and at home in his arms.

Austin chuckled. “It’s not a bad thing.” He walked towards her, kicking off his shoes and moving onto the bed. “Would you just me if I just wanted to hold you?”

Addison felt her heart skip a beat as she listened to his words and she immediately reached for him. “I’d love for you to hold me, Austin. You can do it for as long as you’d like,” she said smiling more as she snuggled herself into his arms once he was beside her on the bed.

Austin walked after her and let his eyes glance from before moving into her room, chuckling lightly. “It’s very you.”

“Oh god, I don’t know whether to take that as a compliment or as an insult,” Addison said with a soft laugh as she moved things off of her bed before getting on it and motioning him to come over to her with her pointer finger.

Austin exhaled against her skin. “Can we go up to your room?” Usually, Austin didn’t care where the two of them were but he realized at that moment the two of them had never been in her room.

Addison nodded to his words and reached down to take his hand. “Of course,” she gave him a smile before lacing her fingers with his and leading him upstairs to her bedroom. “Sorry, it’s a bit messy,” she said with a chuckle as she moved away from him to move her clothes off of her bed.

Addison let a soft moan escape her lips at the feeling of his lips on her neck. He was so hot and so were his words. Her fingers slowly moved underneath his shirt to run up along his muscular abdomen. “And only I...get to do this.”

Austin exhaled as he kept his hand against the wall. “Take it slow. I’m not kiddin’ I’m not boyfriend material and I don’t know if that’s something I can give you.”

“Austin, I’m not telling you that I want you to be my boyfriend right now, I’m not expecting that of you,” Addison said as she looked into his eyes, caressing his cheek gently with her fingers. “Believe me, I’m more than okay with taking things slow.”

Austin chuckled a little at her words. “Probably,” He admitted as he kissed her back, closing the distance between them a little more before he put his hands on her hips. “I’ll do my best, Add… I’ll do my best.”

Addison pressed another quick kiss to his lips before tilting her head up to press a kiss on his forehead as well. “What do you want to do now that everything has been talked about?” She asked with a small chuckle as her fingers played with his hair.

“Got it. So, basically we’re back to friends with benefits then...” Addison said, glancing away for a moment and biting down on her lower lip again. It was a nervous habit. “Do you have feelings for me, Austin?” She asked, looking back up into his eyes again.

Addison pressed her body against his as she kissed him back before nodding. “What about dates? Should we talk about those?” She asked, looking up into his eyes again but keeping their faces close.

Austin moved his hands down to her hips, gripping at the top of her jeans. “I don’t know if… I don’t know what love is, Addy.” He said quietly. “All I know is I hate the thought of other guys touching you.”

“I’ve never been in love until you stepped into my life and changed everything. You are all I think about, you are who I want to be with and while I told myself that I didn’t have these feelings for you, they grew stronger,” Addison told him as she cupped his face in her hands. “I hate the thought of girls touching you too.”

Austin exhaled as his forehead slowly moved towards hers. “I don’t want to hurt you, Addy.” He said quietly as he let his eyes rest on hers. “And the games are killing me too.”

Addison closed her eyes for a moment, her breath becoming shaky. Her fingers threaded through his hair as she thought about her next words and once she looked up at him, she bit down on her lower lip. “I love you, Austin,” she said, feeling her heart practically beating out of her own chest. “You...you don’t have to say it back or anything, that’s just how I feel and I wanted you to know that.”

Addison leaned up to press a kiss to his lips, feeling happy that they were both admitting all of this to each other. “I’m not saying that we need to be in a relationship, Austin. Yes, that would be the next step, but this, what we’re doing right now, is progress. I just want us to be honest with each other with our feelings and to stop playing games.”

Austin let his eyes rest on her, moving closer, closing the distance between them completely. “I thought about you,  the last time I was with someone.” He admitted, letting his eyes rest on her. “After that time on your couch, Addy… I’m fucking ruined.”

Addison ran her fingers up into his hair as she looked deeply into his eyes and she couldn’t help but bite down on her lower lip to all of his words. “I don’t think I can sleep with anyone else...I don’t think I want to sleep with anyone but you,” she admitted, her heart racing in her chest. “This, what we have, is more than sex though.”

Other than the fact that I fucking love you, Addison thought as she looked up into his eyes, immediately wrapping her arms around his neck and smirking a little bit. “Everything that he was doing, I pictured you doing it to me...thinking about how amazing it feels when you touch me, when you kiss me, hearing you groan while you fuck me...everything.”
