My current study space. It’s a bit messy and dusty but I love it. I start school tomorrow and I’m a bit nervous because it’ll be my first semester back after missing fall semester, due to me being in treatment for my mental health.
I also switched my major to culinary studies and applied for the culinary program at my school. I got in and will be taking cooking classes this semester as well as doing my general eds. I’m looking forward to it but in total I’m taking 20 units. I know I can do it but I’m still scared lol.
yes i am smart. yes i am stupid. it’s called being flexible.
10.01.20// really getting into my thesis reading. I have so many articles saved that I finally have the time and energy to read these articles! It’s been a lot of me cleaning my desk and messing it back up but this space is really feeling productive!
Wishing you all a safe and healthy new term! 💕

I realized that I worked better with natural light and so I moved my desk near the door of our study room. This is how it looks like around 7 am in the morning. It's so pretty. Gets me motivated to wake up early and get things done.
November captures - books and coffee is fuelling this summer.

Hi y’all,
Life update: I had to take a break from college due to my mental health. Covid really messed me up and it’s been really hard to deal with life in general. I’m also having an existential crisis because I have no idea what I want to do in life. I don’t know what I want to major in college and I feel so stuck. I changed my major to culinary studies but now I’m thinking I want to pursue an english major. I’m going back to college for the spring and so far I’ve registered for a cooking class and English 1B which about argument and analysis, but for the english class I got waitlisted.
I have to continue to remind myself that it’s okay to take a step back even when all of my peers are ahead of me. I have to stop comparing myself and walk at my own pace. It’s a hard reminder but I’m working on it.
Anyways I hope your fall semester has ended and you all aced your finals as well as wishing you good luck for the spring amidst this pandemic.
