Hello (or really, goodbye) loves!
As I’m sure you’ve all noticed (you know, because of the unfollowing business and all of that), I have decided it’s time for me to take my leave. While this is a bit earlier than I anticipated, my departure was a bit overdue, I think. I had planned on leaving at the end of the summer anyway simply because I wasn’t anticipating enough free time to be properly active during the school year. My junior year is going to be hectic and stressful and sadly, rp’ing just won’t fit in the mix. Now as is clearly evident with a quick glance at both Graham and Addie’s blogs, my activity seemed to take a dive off a cliff in these recent months and I’ll be completely honest here, I’ve had very little motivation to rp. I enjoy it while I’m doing it but I couldn’t seem to set aside time to actually get on. And to those with whom I had ongoing plots, I apologize. I was a terrible plot partner in the last few months.
Now, I will say this. This past year and a half (or so) has been amazing. I’ve met so many great people, developed my creating writing skills immensely, and I’d even go so far as to say become a better person. I couldn’t have asked for a better rp’ing family and I regret having to leave with every ounce of my being. I never thought this day would come so soon. But I’d like to thank each and every one of you for participating in my experience, even if you’re part was small.
Now for the emotional part.
Caity, thank you. First and foremost, thanks for being amazing. You’re such a spectacular person and I can say whole-heartedly that it’s been a pleasure and a privilege getting to know you. I’m proud to call you my friend, Caity Mulcahy. Thanks for making a Stardoll account because without that beautiful and childish website, I wouldn’t be here or even just where I am today. Thanks for creating this wonderfully fabulous rp and allowing me to be a part of this world. Thanks for Adeiet and all those potential future ships (Moorner, mainly and sorta-kinda Juliaide.) I’ll never forget Juliet. Whenever I see Phoebe Tonkin, Juliet Moore will be the first name that pops into my head. And your Marlene was too cute and perfect for words. Barbara Palvin = Marlene McKinnon, always. Thanks for all the memories and I can assure you we’ll be making more. Somehow.
Julie, thank you. Thank you for also being a fantastic human being. Thanks for being my favorite Scandinavian. You’ll always be my Viking Bitch. You’ve made such a huge impact on me and my writing. Your spectacular writing skills inspired and motivated me to be a better writer. I can still remember how intimidated I was by you when I realized my first ever para would be with you. Sirius and James. I’ll never forget your James, either. He was perfection and even to this day, I’ve yet to see one that compares. Thanks for the Marauder memories and even the Warren/Addie interactions. It’s been my pleasure becoming friends with you and that friendship isn’t going to end any time soon. I promise.
Mama Holli, thank you. I think that after Adeiet, you’ve given me the most Addie-related memories between the Dolohov Siblings and Addie/Alecto. Addie will always be Aly’s little ice queen protégée. You really showed me just how complex a ship can be through Jalecto and they were quite the unforgettable couple. I can still remember how excited I was when I finally got an Antonin and I’m glad we could create those adorable sibling moments together. It’s been a joy getting to know you and getting to rp with you.
Sara, thank you. Thank you for all the trees and the beauty that is Caradoc Dearborn. And your Emma Vanity is my favorite out of the many that we’ve had. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Kim, Taylor, and Morgan. You’ve all had unforgettable characters. Taylor, I’ll never forget your Bellatrix. Kim, Augustus was your shining character in my mind’s eye. That and Jensen’s face just really seems to stick. And Morgan, Ella of course. I’m sad I didn’t get to interact with you three a whole lot but you’ve all become unforgettable. Thank you.
Armani, even though you switched face claims, Sky Ferreira will always be synonymous with Ruby in my head. I think it’s safe to say Ruby, Juliet, and Ramona are my three favorite OC’s in this rp. And of course the cute little lamb that is Doe. Graham will miss Ruby dearly, I promise. And of course, I’ll miss you.
Shen, I’ll never forget your inbox to me telling me that I was the reason you joined this rp. That was the biggest compliment I think anyone could’ve given me and I was beyond flattered. I’m so sad that we couldn’t have explored and developed Benjy and Addie’s friendship more but I’m grateful for the little bit that we did together. Thank you.
Abbie, one word. Fredmona. I can say that was my favorite ship and perhaps that’s because it’s the one that progressed the most but regardless, I love Ramona. Thanks for allowing me to swoop in and create a future for Ramona after Blarper. I’m not sure how Freddie could ever compete against Regulus but thank you all the same.
Sammy, thank you for the brief period of Juliaide we shared. I loved your Julian and he was definitely my favorite (but shh, don’t tell Kate.). And thank you also for the Marauder memories via Moony and Padfoot. I’ll never forget your Remus or Marlmus which, I think, is the cutest ship to ever exist. At least, the way you and Caity wrote it in it’s fluffiest times.
And thank you to anyone and everyone else. Even if you didn’t get a blurb, you’re still special. I may not have gotten to know the rest of you real well but it’s been a pleasure interacting with you. And if we haven’t interacted? Then it’s been a pleasure being in this rp with you. I wish you all the best from here on out and I can’t wait to see where this rp goes.
