Background:
When she was a human, Adelaide was the epitome of a little princess though that wasnât exactly the right title for her. As the only daughter and youngest child of an Earl, Lady was more fitting. Still that didnât stop her from acting like a princess, ordering around the servants around just as her Lady mother might although she was never cruel to them. She was adored by both of her parents, and her siblings due to sweet and bubbly nature. Always seeing that her older brother, Ezra, was treated second best she made it a point to make him her first choice despite the dismay of her parents when they found him following him around. She also had a close relationship with Finnick, though not nearly as deep. Adelaide was always a happy person, always oblivious to most of the troubles that surrounded her.Â
She was also a head strong and ambitious girl, wanting more out of life then to simply be married off to some man. The brunette often forced her older brothers to teach her sword fighting, and things typically meant for a man. Every time her father got close to setting up who she was to marry, she somehow found a way to stop it. May it be with the son of another Earl, a Baron, or even a Duke she simply didnât care. She couldnât stand the idea of leaving home, of leaving her brother, to be sent off to some place sheâd never been to before with people she thought she would hate. Eventually, she even convinced her father to let her pick her own husband which was pretty much unheard of. It was her only saving grace that she was so loved by her father, or else things could have gone a very different way for her.Â
Things changed for even Adelaide when Margery Sinclair blew into the Pendragonâs life. She could sense the tension the women cause between her brothers, and that caused her to loath her old brotherâs betrothed but she hid it well. After a few months, Ezra divulged his secret affair with Margery to Adelaide. Though she didnât approve in the slightest, she didnât tell her brother or anyone else that. Instead she started forming a plan in her head, to some how get Margery sent away or even possibly killed. The girl was tearing the Pendragonâs a part, and that was something Adelaide simply wouldnât let stand. After all of her attempted to get the girl sent away, or ruin her reputation enough so she couldnât marrying Finnick failed she resigned to murder girl. She planned to poison the girl at the wedding, so that nothing could be traced back to her.
However her plan didnât go exactly as planned, considering the wedding never actually happened. Two days before everything was supposed to go down, she saw her brothers fighting from her window. Running out  in her night gown, she arrived minutes to late. Adelaide found both of her brothers nearly dead at the bottom of a cliff, breaking into a sob she knew there was nothing she could do to help them. The next thing she knew Margery had arrived on the scene. Rage surged through the girl, completely blaming her for her brotherâs âdeathâ. Before she knew what was happening, Margery was bent over both her brotherâs bodies praying. Grabbing one of her brotherâs swords, Adelaide had every intention of killing the witch before she was flown back with the simple flick of Margeryâs wrist. It all clicked in Adelaideâs mind then, Margery was a witch. She hadnât been praying, sheâd been chanting. Though she didnât much care, once she got back on her feet just as the other women was standing up. Margery claimed to have saved the two Pendragonâs, but it didnât matter to the youngest child it was all her fault in the first place. She charged forward once again, ramming the sword into the witchâs chest. Realizing what sheâd actually done, she knew she had to cover it up  because she knew her brotherâs would never forgive her for such an act. She put the sword in the girlâs hand, deciding to say she stabbed herself over the guilt of what sheâd done. As both of her brotherâs came to she told them both the âstoryâ of what had happened and was relieved when they both bought the story without question.Â
Once she learned what her brotherâs had been turned into, she knew she had to become one too so she had Ezra turn her. For most of her vampire life sheâs been traveling around with Ezra, always by his side. Sheâs always attempted to repair her older brotherâs relationships, and was incredibly excited when it actually happened. For the most part, Adelaide loves being a vampire. Sheâs always wanted more out of life and sheâs finally gotten it. It was more then she could have hoped for. The only issue was her dirty little secret, which she still carries around to this day. Â

Ezra & Finnick Pendragon â Brothers
Adelaideâs brotherâs have always been the most important people in her life. Back when they were all human, she would spend more time with them then other girls her age leading to a close bond with both of them. However, she has always put Ezra above Finnick. She saw the saw her parentâs treated Ezra, so she made it a goal to make her older brother feel wanted. This carried on to their eternal life, though she was the one who was the driving part in Finnick and Ezra partially repairing their relationship.Â
Stephan St. James â On again, off again.Â
From the moment Adelaide first Stephan on a battle field during the Civil War when he was nearly dead, she knew their was something between them. She ended up turned him as the request of his sister, though she probably would have done it anyways. The two grew close after that, and their relationship quickly heated up. Theyâve been together on and off since then. Though they often take breaks of each other, Adelaide couldnât see herself with anyone else. Â
