The Morning After

One of my favorite paintings from my senior thesis. Influenced by one of my earlier thesis pieces to show a difference of time and how libido can fluctuate.

Snapshots part 2

Snapshots is a series of 52 4x6 inch paintings done in water-soluble graphite and Posca paint marker. This series was a focus on my personal struggles with sex and Vaginismus- how my anxiety makes me feel like I am used/ seen as an object. The images used are all of myself that were taken by my partner, by myself intended for my partner, or internationally to be painted. Every individual piece is also mounted on an inch thick piece of wood to give them more of an object feel
