“Ah, thank you!” She smiled, “His name is Monster, but don’t worry; he’s super friendly. I just named him that ‘cause he’s so huge and fluffy!” Mia chuckled, before, “And I’m fine, thank you! I finally have a break from my job at the library, so I got to hang out with Monster for a bit,” She scratched underneath the indeed-very-fluffy Samoyed’s chin, watching his head crane up towards Mia with a limp tongue hanging out of his mouth; she continued, her lips pursing into a slight frown, “But unfortunately I have to go back in about an hour.”
“Monster has to be one of the cutest dog names, I’ve ever heard.” Which was no lie, mostly due to the fact it was a nice break from the usual Max, and Spot that most dogs seemed to be named. “Do you enjoy working at the library?” Adele was no stranger to the library- preferring to save money by checking out books instead of buying them for what seemed to be a rather high mark up. “That’s a shame. I’m sure Monster is enjoying getting to spend the next hour with you.” She smiled as her eyes locked back on the dog. “May I pet your dog?”
