adoreafterparty:
It was a somewhat quiet walk back to the rooms and Adore couldn’t help but let her mind wander. She knew Bianca hadn’t really spoken to her since the kiss the other night and it seemed as though she was going at great lengths to ignore her too. But, the one positive thing about the situation was that Adore knew when to stop, she knew how to play it off and she definitely knew how to try to stop making things so damn awkward. Regardless, Adore looked up to Bianca and she counted her as a close friend so close friends could fix something like this… right?
“Hey B.” Adore whispered as she spotted the open door that exposed Roy removing the makeup from his face. It wasn’t unusual for Adore to find herself in front of Bianca’s door - especially when cuddly drunk Adore was present, but this time seemed much different. “I’ve been looking all over for you! How did you feel about the show tonight?” Seeing that Katya wasn’t around, Adore moved closer into the room, eyeing the makeup remover wipes close by. If anything, she could always say she was looking for wipes to remove her own makeup.
The all too familiar voice caught Bianca by surprise and she turned her head to watch the younger queen enter, not showing much more of a reaction than that unless you really looked closely. “It was a good show,” she replied, turning her attention back to the mirror in front of her and trying to focus back on her own face. “No one fell this time,” she added on with a laugh, remembering about the time Courtney had knocked down Jinkx with her butt during a BOTS performance the year before. Her eyes glanced over towards the door briefly and then to Adore before returning to her reflection, half her makeup off and the other half still making her look like a cross between Roy and Bianca.
They were alone for the first time since the night in the bus (during which it was arguable that they were actually alone but still). “Why aren’t you out partying with the other girls?” she asked, dabbing at her face again with the wipe in her hand. She realized that she wasn’t sure what was going to happen or what was on Adore’s mind right now (oddly enough, considering Adore was one of the easiest people ever to read), but also that she didn’t really want Adore to leave now that she was here.
"Not really in the mood I guess." Adore said with a shrug as she sat down and looked over at her friend. Thankfully, she had her makeup remover and mirror handy so she could transform back into Danny and just pass the fuck out. Danny was usually an open book, anyone could read his emotions, but lately he was trying his damn hardest for people - specifically Bianca - to see that he was anything but putting on a happy face. "What are you doing after this?" It didn't feel awkward but Adore definitely felt a little different. They hadn't talked about what happened and it was unusual because if anyone was to confront anything, it was Bianca but Adore was thankful that she didn't ask any questions about it.
