Lyra was more than relaxed by now, the alcohol was kicking in and she was sure she had tried her way through half of the bar…. Well, that and maybe the pot brownie was making its way through her stomach and finally kicking in. “Hey,” she greeted Adriana with a bright grin upon sighting her. “You know me,” she started. “Always having good ol’, fun,” a laugh followed. “Wha’ about you? Wine doesn’t seem overly fitting for the occasion.”

after knowing lyra for a while, she could always tell when she was under the influence of something, and she could definitely tell the other female was high off her head. ‘ you’ve been eating your infamous pot brownies, haven’t you? ‘ shaking her head at her friend, a small amused smile was playing on her lips. ‘ hey, it’s white.. ‘ she started, tilting her wineglass from side to side slightly. ‘ i don’t know, i just don’t feel like getting wasted tonight. i guess i’m not really in the party mood for some reason. ‘

      Turning at the sound of a voice, Nico smiled brightly at the other and nodded. “Why wouldn’t I be having fun? It’s going so well.” She came closer to Adriana, tilting her head with a look of slight concern. “The real question is if you’re having fun or not. You’re standing up against a wall and that cannot be satisfying.”

‘ yeah, you girls have done a great job. it looks amazing. ‘ adriana spoke, letting her gaze wander over the room once again. ‘ i don’t know.. i didn’t wanna miss this party, but i’m also not really in a party mood? you shouldn’t worry about me, though! ‘ she reassured her. placing down her glass on the table, she pulled out her lip gloss from her clutch before reapplying it. ‘ so, what are you drinking? ‘ she asked after smacking her lips together.

Calypso turned her head to the girl who spoke and gave a small nod. “It’s fun to watch all of them get drunk.” She mused with an amused smile on her lips. “What about you?”

rose was glad to see adriana at the drinks table, and made her way over. she knew she could trust the brunette, she wouldn’t be drunk or high at the moment. the girl, like her, knew how to have a good time without needing to be under the influence. “ kinda, ” she answered with a shrug, dropping her red solo cup full of coke. “ you’re the first person i know that i’ve met !! i’m so glad you’re here. ”

noticing the brown liquor in the other girls cup, she furrowed her eyebrows. ‘ you’re only drinking.. coke? come on, girl. have a glass of wine with me. ‘ she smiled, handing her a empty wine glass for her to fill if she wanted to, she wasn’t gonna push her into drinking. ‘ mhm, i’m glad you’re here too. ‘ she said as she took another sip.

alicia was standing by herself, looking for someone she knew and she smiled when she saw adriana. tentatively, she moved to walk towards her and reached for the wine bottle as well. “yeah, definitely,” she said with a smile. “you? you look gorgeous, by the way.”

‘ meh, i guess. i’m not really in the party mood for some reason, i don’t know. ‘ adriana shrugged. ‘ thank you. you look beautiful as well, white definitely suits you. ‘ she told her, her lips curving into a smile.

Lily had arrived punctual as always which left her a little time to survey the room and get herself a drink before she started to mingle. Sure, she noticed a few things she could have done better but overall she was impressed. She was just pouring herself a second glass when she heard Adriana, “Not yet but the night’s young,” she said honestly, raising her glass to the other girl’s when it was full to toast the evening. “You look lovely if someone hasn’t already said,” she added sincerely.

‘ indeed it is. ‘ adriana agreed, clinking her glass gently against the other female’s. ‘ cheers. ‘ she mumbled before putting her glass against her lips and taking a sip. ‘ thank you, so do you. i think white might be your colour. ‘ tucking a piece of her brown hair behind her ear, she sent the other brunette a smile.

She snickered and nodded. “Fine, fine, I won’t do it. I won’t make any promises on not dropping anything though, because I’m bound to do that sooner or later.”

smoothing out her flowey white dress, she let her gaze wander around the room. watching as everyone was chatting away with a drink in their hands, whilst adriana was stood, silently nodding along to the music playing. walking over to the beverages, she finally poured herself a glass of white wine, and chewed her lesser lip as she spotted a more familiar face. ‘ hey, you. you having fun? ‘ she inquired, before taking a small sip from her wine.

Mae walked into the house, setting down the cupcakes she made on one of the many tables. “This is so cute! Everyone here looks so cute in white, I’m loving it.”

Jacey walked in with a bag filled with assorted alcohol and she grinned at the white decorations. She set the bag down where there were other drinks and leaned against the table. “I’m somewhat tempted to just dump and entire bottle of red wine over something. Add a little colour.”
